On the 7th September 2016, Mr Denis Harrott, Orginal Co- owner of the family run business Barton Villa, passed away at Wythenshawe Hospital after his battle with cancer. His vision, hard work and dedication over the past 43 years has helped to grow Barton Villa into the successful business it is today. His funeral will be held on 20th September at Dukinfield Crematorium at 12.00pm

Management Position.
We are requiring an individual that can dedicate their time to learning the full workings of the hotel. The successful candidate will need plenty of enthusiasm, excellent people skills and bags of energy. They must be organised, methodical, willing to learn, punctual, have an eye for detail and willing to partake in all aspects of the business. We require that the candidate has the potential to help develop the business with the current management and can... bring experience and expertise to the forefront. We will be looking carefully at all candidates previous employment to see how they may fit into the company. We must also express that this manager will be required to live on the premises at certain times of the year to cover annual leave. The applicant must be able to drive and be flexible through out their week.
This managerial post is part time. Eventually you will be assuming the same responsibility as the other manager on a shared capacity. Your ability to communicate and hand over the business at the end of a shift is extremely important.
This is a very team spirited environment to work in. If you can work as part of a team and not as an individual then you will enjoy your time with us. Salary will be based on the successful candidates experience and their eligibility meet the above criteria.

All single rooms have a maximum occupancy of one person and are £40.50 per night.

We have three family rooms, all of these rooms can accommodate up to four people with two people occupying a double bed and two occupying two single beds.

What a great time we had! I took 30 members of my Pilates class for Afternoon Tea. Louise made the booking process super easy and we all had a great time, delish food and lots of it!

Went for afternoon tea, excellent choice including some hot choices from the afternoon tea menu which is unusual but great - food was fresh and delicious and service was excellent and all for £10pp including unlimited tea/coffee or £12 including a glass of prosecco. Would recommend and visit again soon.

We have stayed here on a few occasions now, every room has been to a very good standard and the breakfast is delicious. I cannot praise this place enough. Well worth staying and we will be back again soon.

Visited barton villa today with 3 of my residents for afternoon tea, even though we arrived early the staff were so helpful and couldn't do enough to make us feel welcome. The food was lovely, the staff kind and helpful and the tea room is beautiful. My residents really enjoyed themselves and are already planning when we can come again, I will definitely be recommending you to the other homes in our area. Thank you again.

Took my mum and mother in law for an early mothers days treat and have to say it was absolutely fabulous. Both mums are in their 80's and don't have big appetite and enjoyed their left over sandwiches for their tea later. I especially loved the fact you had a choice of hot and cold sandwiches, hot choice for pasties chips or quiche and a choice of desserts. #lovedeveryminute

This is our third time of staying here since August last year...and cannot fault the place. Management & staff are so friendly & nothing is too much trouble. Breakfast is of an extensive choice & cannot be faulted...even gluten free is offered which is fantastic as I am Coeliac. Rooms are spotlessly clean...comfortable & warm.

Barton Villa is now our place to stay on our visits up from Cornwall.

Stayed yesterday for 1st time room wasn't ready when we arrived but staff sorted it right away as we had a wedding to get ready for room excellent very clean staff very helpful & pleasant food excellent plenty of breakfast choices will definitely stay there again xx

Stayed here with my mam for 1 night so we could attend a family funeral, lovely staff and such a warm welcome. Nicely decorated with a gorgeous bathroom. We stayed in ground floor of the annex. Tea and coffee available in room. Well chuffed with price too. Would defiantly recommend and defiantly use again if we are in the area. Thank you.

Stayed here for five days and was very impressed with everything, was only a 15 min drive from manchester city centre. only area of focus i can think of was small tvs. But wouldent stop me from staying again. Thanks to all the staff

Spotted that they do an afternoon tea and went in to try it. Nicest, best value afternoon tea I've ever had. Left very full too!! Lovely room to have it in too.

Lovely place stayed a few times never disappoints

Love hotel we had a room in the annex build which was very clean and modern the bathroom was lovely. Had a very comfortable nights sleep the breakfast was excellent and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful would highly recommend this hotel as it was well priced and very clean xxx

Just been for Afternoon tea, AMAZING just AMAZING, unlike other afternoon teas you choose the sandwiches you want from hot and cold, chips, mini pasties or quiche, then choose from array of puddings. The freshest sandwiches, chips to die for, cheesecake made by angels from heaven, friendly staff, gorgeous surroundings, we will definitely be back. As s group we’ve been to many places for afternoon tea this is our new favourite go to place.

I was recommended Barton Villa for a Birthday Afternnon Tea and we were not disappointed, from walking in to walking out the day was fantastic very helpful staff and being able to pick your own sandwiches and hot food to was a bonus, won’t be long before we will be back again, thank you to all

Had wonderful 3 nights, very clean and tidy beds were comfy and warm, food was cooked fresh and very hot, staff and owners were very helpful. Good prices and will not hesitate to book in again, The owners also welcomed our 2 chihuahuas without question.

Very clean and comfortable room in the Annexe, only thing I would have liked would be a darker blind (blackout), as the cream one let in light all night. Good breakfast, friendly staff. Would visit again.
