Letters are coming home tonight for all Year 4 & Year 5 parents for our sleepover trip at The Deep in Hull.

If you are going into Selby for the Tour De Yorkshire today please pop into Selby Abbey. Many of our children were named as runners up in the Selby Literature Festival Poetry competition. There is a lovely display in the Abbey to see.

We are delighted to be working with Drax again later this month when their team will join us and work with our Year 3/4 pupils to build their very own power station. We are loving our STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering & Maths) projects here in school.

108 children have today enjoyed one of the school's favorites... chicken korma. Yummy

Don't forget that school is closing early tomorrow at 2.30pm. We hope you manage to join the crowds in Selby to watch the finish of the Tour de Yorkshire or outside showing of the Greatest Showman !

THROWBACK THURSDAY: Thank you to all those parents and carers who joined us for a coffee or tea at our informal Key Stage 1 Reading Cafe on Thursday 11th April. Every child in school from Reception to Year 6 received a brand new book today courtesy of the Selby & District Children's Literature Festival. #feelingthankful

We were delighted to see so many parents, family members and children in school for our Easter Family Bingo... we had nearly 100 people in the hall. We raised a super £250 for school and we hope you had a lovely family time.
