In solidarity to all of this beautiful post. Pride grows every year and I am grateful I live in a country where that is possible. But remember that there is still a struggle every day for many, there has been atrocities extending decades of hate, abuse, incarcerations, chemical castrations, intolerance that to this day takes place when same sex couples are threatened in the street just for holding hands or kissing. A thing a straight couple doesn't have to think about. When y...ou still have to announce your sexuality when its 'not straight' which the world wants an opinion about. No, pride is not just a party. It's a fuck you to hatred, to inequality, to bigotry, to lack of compassion, to things not being equal... yet. Operation ambient lighting coming along nicely

Trying out a new sauce for vegan mac n cheese and made a fresh batch of slow cooked chick pea tagine rich with ginger, garlic, a blend of spices, aubergine, onion, peppers, asparagus and kale. Very flavoursome and available today in the basement 🤗😄

First day of summer hols is coming... So I am putting on a crafts session to entertain all ages from 12 on Saturday 21st. Pop down to the basement and see what we have for you to play with safely out of the midday sun 🤗🌞

We have a cracking month ahead filled with activities and events; Tomorrow Friday 13th July is our monthly Stitch n Bitch from 12pm, bring along your crafting projects and enjoy chat, coffee, cake and crafts. July 21st is our mindful arts and crafts drop in from 12pm. August 4th we have a dreamcatcher making workshop from 11am and magic wand making workshop from 1pm. Then at 3.30pm we have a live solo music performance from Lesley Roley. August 11th is our debate and discuss...ion group, this month's topic is 'what is beauty?' August 18th we have mediumship q and a followed by a demo from Elaine Somerville and David Jones. You can find Elaine on facebook and follow their wonderful live videos. From 1pm till 4pm.

Cake cabinet of diet doom!!

Sweet toothed snaxx fans, not only do I have the most delicious caramel apple pie in for the non vegans, but I have also got my own tropical mango dessert, strawberry cheesecake, banana bread, doughnuts and cookie sandwiches that are all vegan (although you dont have to be vegan to appreciate their yumminess) Oh... the doughnuts have unicorns on too 🤗

Freshly delivered to the basement today is this beautiful vegan strawberry cheesecake. Supplied by @karmakandies this looks heavenly 🍓🍓😍

Sooo looking forward to our next Stitch and Bitch this Friday 13th July. Starting from 12pm you can bring in your projects and sit with a really great group of crafters and crack on, or come learn new skills. My needlefelting will be with me. What you bringing to the table?

Been having fun with vegan friendly desserts and here it is. Tropical mango and date set mousse sitting atop a lotus biscuit base, topped with a hazelnut and coconut crumb, lavender candied celery and mint leaves. Come and have a try.

Candied up some celery with lavender. My imagination is running wild for a lovely dessert dish 🤗🤗

Lovely, peaceful place - you’d never think you were just off the always busy Northumberland Street. Great selection of hot and cold drinks and really impressive food menu! Real hidden gem with lovely welcoming staff, definitely worth a visit.

Lovely warm hidden treasure on a proper baltic day. Splendid choice of homemade food, cakes, teas and lush coffee. We tried the vegan balti and it was belta!! Look forward to returning. Thank you for making us feel at home �

Love the food, coffee here and the customer service is great!! Would highly recommend people try it as there is something for everyone.

Just down Ridley place down through the wonderful Elula to this excellent lovely welcoming eatery with lots of vegetarian and vegan options and l went for the mushrooms on beetrot toast, and it was absolutely gorgeous. The people were really friendly and looking forward to sampling more on the menu, there is a lot on there to please everyone's dietary preferences as well as great drink options.

Fabulous cafe with loads of zen! Cuddliest and loveliest owner! Great coffee and if you’re vegan, try the coconut butter cream, it’s amazing! The hippy shop above is worth a look too! X

Cute little outta-the-way cafe with a lovely team running the show and finding their feet fast. This is a totally inclusive, gay friendly and community-spirited space with lots more to offer in the future. They have speciality tea's and coffees, butties, panini's, soups, meals, gorgeous cakes and vegan options. Pop in and support a local business. Gan on man.

Cake is mmmm yummy, UNBELIEVE! I thought all cafe have a normal sweet boring cake as normal BUT THIS IS CAKE IS, hard to describe because feel like I am in heaven, great taste, when I ate banana cake!



Deffo return that cafe for to taste their meal.

An absolute jewel in the centre of town. Delicious loose leaf tea, glorious food and the owners are really lovely people.
