Visited for Sunday breakfast which was delicious. We had ham and egg on toast and scrambled eggs on toast. The ham was thick cut and tasty. The orange juice was freshly squeezed! And the views even in pouring rain wonderful!

Fantastic location, service and food for weddings but could do with a larger desert selection.

Excellent experience. Both in location, product range and customer service. The shop has a wide range of local produce and the restaurant offers great food to eat, snacks and even the chance to have a sneaky watch of a the weddings on site :) the owner Simon is also hands on, so you always know its a top star visit. Keep it up and will be back again.

Booked afternoon tea for my Mothers 88 Birthday and her very good friend it was a complete suprise for my mother. Given that their is a small distance of 193 miles between us I was hoping for a really lovely afternoon for mum.
Well you did say you would look after her and you did much more than that. I reguested a signe of some sort saying happy birthday and you made a lovely cake. To say they both had a wounderfull time is an understatement. Thank you Simon and team you made my mum very happy. Worth every penny and would highly recommend.*****

The cafe area was full so we sat in the restaurant which had the same menu plus table service which was very good.
The views of the local countryside through the patio doors was beautiful.
We both choose from the salad Barrow menu and had prawns and a lovely side of garlic bread.
You can just help yourself to as much as you like and it was delicious

Newspapers and local mags to read. Lovely large scones, fresh. Sticky toffee cake - a delight. Pot of tea for 2. Asked for more milk and it was bought out to table. Disliked table not clean we sat at, they came and wiped over when I asked but didn't move paper so I had the dirty section of the table haha. Great shop, new art gallery and cake baking business added since last visit. Plenty of parking. But this is a great stop in summer when cycling as tables outdoors.

We came today, Friday, for lunch; second visit. I was very disappointed with my choice: quiche. It seems this was made with soft blue cheese but this was not stated on the menu. This is not what I expected. Quiche is a simple meal. Blue cheese is an acquired taste. It was very rich and I left most of it. The waitress was very charming and apologised and said she would pass on my comments. However that seemed to be the end of the matter; we were not even offered a free cup of tea by way of an apology.

A very delicious lunch, the lamb was to die for! Lovely setting & produce to buy. Will be back :)

This family-run 'barn' based out in beautiful Bashall Eaves is a real Gem. Food, whether cake and coffee, or full blown lunch is always amazing. Friendly staff, good value for money. A real eclectic mix of munchies and shopping. Plus you can see the moo-cows in the adjoining shed through the windows

Put Bashall Barn on your "to visit" list and it will become a well-deserved favourite with your family; it is with mine !
