Basic Beauty Home Salon offers a small range of beauty treatments (for Ladies only) by Lisa, experienced Beauty Therapist, IHBC & C& G.

I qualified as a Beauty Therapist with International Health and Beauty Council (IHBC) and City & Guilds (C& G) at Norfolk College of Arts and Technology, Kings Lynn in 1992.
I started my career working in London on Buckingham Palace Road at Aspect Hair & Beauty Salon. I moved back to Norwich and went on to work at Gianna Zagni Hair & Beauty Salon, Beyond The Fringe as Manageress /Beauty Therapist and at Kerryann's Hair and Beauty Salon (KA's).
I am now starting up my own business carrying out treatments from a room within my home on a part time basis for lady clients only. The best form of contact to make an appointment is by text, email or Facebook messenger, please be patient if I take a few hours before I return your message, I will respond as soon as possible.

Total Contraindications
When you have any of these conditions, please do not book a massage:
Fever
Contagious diseases, (including any cold or flu)
Under the influence of drugs or alcohol-including prescription pain medication
Recent operations or acute injuries
Neuritis
Skin diseases

Local Contraindications
Can massage but not over any areas affected by:
Varicose veins
Undiagnosed lumps or bumps
Pregnancy
Bruising
Cuts
Abrasions
Sunburn
Undiagnosed pain
Inflammation, including arthritis

Medical Contraindications
If you suffer from any of the following conditions, massage can only take place once it has been approved before your session in writing by your Doctor.
Cardio-vascular conditions (thrombosis, phlebitis, hypertension, heart conditions)
Any condition already being treated by a medical practitioner
Oedema
Psoriasis or eczem
High blood pressure
Osteoporosis
Cancer
Nervous or psychotic conditions
Heart problems, angina, those with pacemakers
Epilepsy
Diabetes
Bell’s palsy, trapped or pinched nerves
Gynecological infections

Does a contraindication mean that treatment cannot take place?
Not always. In fact, massage can be very therapeutic for many medical conditions. However, in the above cases it is best to have advice from your doctor.
