Had a bike pinched recently and they gave me helpful advice for the replacement, as well as being concerned for me. They know their customers and their wares. Staff do actually ride bikes themselves. Sometimes there's a bit of banter as well. Def recommend them.

Just got my MTB back with new brakes pads and the service was spot on as always, very helpful and friendly which is why I have gone to them for years.

I went to buy a bike for my son. Staff didn't give me a good choice of bikes but pushed one option on me. They wanted me to buy a bike without seeing it or having a chance to check the size and refused to take the bike back if the size was incorrect. I've later found out that they were trying to push a size on me that was too big for my son. I feel they were trying to take advantage of my ignorance.

I asked for mudguards that would cover the rear wheel best to protect rider behind me in bad conditions. I was recommended and sold some plastic mudguards (most expensive too) that didn't do the trick at all. Members of my club were complaining at how poor they were at stopping mud and shale from being spat on riders behind and around me.

When I took them back I was told that I couldn't exchange or my money back, just that I should have done my research online. I think I will next time, and purchase too.

I bought my first bike from these guys, and they wouldn't even tune my gears when they were slipping.

The least accurate or helpful shop I have ever been in; I will never use them again.

My wife brought me a bike from them a year or so ago. Sadly I then had two back operations followed by a death in the family. Anyway I rang them to as if they would have a look at my bike ( as you get a 6week service) despite the time. I was completely shocked by the way this guy spoke to me. There was not even a word compassion not even a remark of sadness for my loss.. very disappointed with this shop. What makes it worse is I was going to buy my son and daughter there new bikes and myself a carbon bike to add to the collection
