I went for the first time last week. I took my 6 month old to the baby pool. It wasnt heated and was about as stimulating as watching your washing dry. The water slide area was closed off, which left only a small segment with activities on the walls. The actives were grimy and clearly having been cleaned since installation. I paid 3.80 to sit in an unstimulating , grimey, 2x2 meters square area. I had to take my daughter out several times just to use the shower to heat up. Apparently that was off-peak price, the centre feels the need to increase their prices when the schools are off. That’s a great encouragement for kids to exercise

pretty decent but when i went last there was period blood one the tiles on the stairs going up to the slides , which i nearly stood in :(

Never up date the open times on line, been there last three times when then web has said it's open only to be told it's shut for "staff sickness/ shortages" repair or when ever the excuse is that week. Tired and dirty. Rude staff on the phone if you can be bothered to call 15 times to find out if there open or not due to the fact they never bother to answer the phone. Better off driving the extra time and investing your money in reading or Bracknell.

Unfortunately I feel that many people using this facility live in a barn. Mud on the floor, Baby powder, nappies, urine...
Staff is more focused on chasing parents for photographing their kids (although paid service is acceptable) than keeping this place tidy. It's a shame that only council owned pools are so concerned about photography yet allow private companies to take phototos .

Bit grubby in places but still lots of fun. My kid loves it. A lot of things seem always out of order. We like the changing room layout. Times of different activities are hard to find out and quite confusing.

Can be busy but definitely improved since receiving some refurbishment work. Good sized pool and usually pretty warm - good for all ages with three slides to entertain bigger kids and adults!

Multiple pools, great family pool and plenty of changing facilities. Good onsite coffee shop where you can sit and watch

Reasonably priced. undergoing refurbishment. changing rooms improved.

Very tired pool area. Staff looked and seemed like they hated working there. A couldnt care less attitude. Its under renivations at the moment so hopefully it can only get better. it does have a pretty awsome water slide for grown ups and big kids. That was about the only good thing about my visit

Are with my son regularly at the swimming pool and rather disappointed. 8/10 something is either broken or closed (slides). The queue over weekend is always long and staff prefers to chat away rather than focus on speedy service. Overall you feel like you are bothering them. And of course paying for hairdryer is absolutely ridiculous (shall be included in the price, one would imagine)
Unfortunately there is no more facilities like this in Basingstoke so you just have to put up with it and try to find possitives. I'm sure whoever is running that place is aware of it but over year very little is being done.
