It is to raise awareness of the fact that there is a price to pay for fast fashion somewhere in the process. And once we are aware of the consequences we have a choice to make in how and why to shop. Having a capsule well made wardrobe costs less than following the latest trends and buying fast fashion where trends fade very quickly, the garment doesn’t fit well, has a short life span and a need to buy more clothes. With a well made quality capsule wardrobe, buying clothing less often but better quality intentionally.

What inspires you? People always ask me what is my inspiration for your art. I always say architecture and linear forms because this is my background. But at times I’m not sure and I am giving this question more thoughts. I find it a complex question, may be it shouldn’t be!! ... Reality I get inspired by so many things and at times I don’t realise until I get to the studio or someone comment on one of my prints
I know for sure I see the world in shapes and since I have started making silk scarves I am enjoying experimenting with colours which is a fairly recent venture. What do you do when you need to clear your head? When I get stuck and restless I tend to go for a long walk. We are blessed here in the UK with lots of green peaceful spaces. This is usually my thinking time and I call it my walking meditation time. The good thing I tend to resolve what ever is on my mind and go back to the office or studio with freshness and excitement.
