Went there today to look at possibilities for a new bass. Really friendly staff, took the time to listen to what I wanted and made helpful recommendations. Good selection of instruments too. Really liked the place and I'll be going back.

Well worth the drive to the land where the sun never shines.



Great service and great advice without any pressure to get the sale, I had a few things on my list to look at but sometimes you know when something feels right.

Visited the shop today to try out a variety of basses as I was unsure exactly what I wanted. Very helpful staff and not at all pushy like some of the larger music shops out there. I was given time to sit and play any bass I wanted without feeling pressured into leaving with a bass. Only difficulty was leaving with only one bass! Highly recommend to anyone looking at buying a new bass or equipment.

Travelled from Stroud to browse the selection of bass guitars at Bass Direct today... Wow! Loved it. Huge selection of guitars that you won't find anywhere else (to my mind) in the UK.



Alex and the team literally could not do enough for me and I spent two hours trying out any bass I wanted. No hard sell, no pressure service by people who are as passionate about bass guitars as I was. Very forthcoming, very approachable and friendly. Would defo visit again!
