Welcome to Bateman Pet Services
Set in the Yorkshire dales we provide a caring, stimulating and healthy environment for dogs.
Due to our ever evolving lifestyle and social activities more and more of us find ourselves in positions where we have to leave our pets home alone. Bateman Pet Services provides peace of mind that your pet is being mentally and physically exercised during the day, whether it be while you’re at work, out shopping or even just so they can enjoy exercise in natural surroundings with others of their kind.
We know that you love spending time walking your dog but sometimes time constraints during the working week make it difficult for your dog to get the attention, structure, exercise and mental stimulation necessary to keep your dog happy and content. Often dogs that are left alone for long periods, deprived of regular structured exercise and social interaction, can become lethargic or destructive.
Whether it’s an odd day or 5 times a week you can be sure to have a relaxed and fulfilled pet on your safe return.

This week has been very surreal I’ve lost all my home boarding bookings for the next few months and dreaded every message on my phone however I will stay positive and look forward to taking out my walking dogs. I’d like to say a huge thank you to all my clients for allowing me to continue to walk their dogs even though they are mostly working from home without their support my business would cease to exist. Neither of us know what the future will bring but I’ll continue to work as much as I can and if you need to self isolate I’m happy to help with any shopping you may need. Meet Belle she’s been staying with us after her operation to remove a tumour she was originally booked into kennels whilst her owners were on holiday but her lovely owners wanted some personal care and love she’s been a pleasure to have stay.

Very wet on my walks today but I met these which cheered me up
Yesterday we couldn’t walk by the river as it was flooded but today we managed to get a walk in the field where it was flooded looks more like a lake but the dogs certainly enjoyed themselves.
These two are so cute loving having them stay with us they are best friends Hamish will be sad when Rosie goes home tomorrow.
Loving looking after Hamish and Rosie in our home both from different homes but best of pals Hamish the fluffy one is only 16 weeks old and loving being here with the other dogs and he’s learning from them too.
Looking after these three cats for a couple of weeks they were all very chilled this morning.
