We brought our first flatbed 3500kg 16' Bateson in spring 1988 after the back axle on a 16ft competitor trailer from wales fell off that trailer was only 3yrs old!



Our Bateson has hauled 126 and 146 small bales loads daily during winter months and general duties from tractors / plant to building materials rest of the year it has done @ least 200,000 miles. It has had new tyres and decking but looking it's age now what more can you ask from a working trailer.

Just had our horse trailer serviced. Excellent job, can't thank you enough. It looks like new!!!

To anyone who thinks their trailer is sound because it looks it, think again. After a thorough floor check it was found to need some TLC. Now it has a new floor and I have peace of mind that my horses will travel safely. Geoff Smith and team have been fantastic. Don't delay and get your trailer fully checked out - your horses will thank you

In this day and age' you do not expect customer service.....well Batesons certain restored my faith in customer service.

We have just purchased a Deauville Horse Trailer, and the service they have provided is and was priceless.

Cannot thank Geoff, Alison and Dale enough for everything.

I've always had the Bateson trailers for over 15 years my 17.1 hunter travels fine wilt plenty of room nice and light to tow

I purchased a Deauville 55 secondhand trailer back in January after hearing how great these Bateson trailers were. After finding out it needed a new floor and only having a few days to get it done, Bateson fit me in and fit a lovely new floor, jockey wheel and helped me with a number of little jobs! Can’t wait to get the horse out next week to a competition! Excellent customer service will definitely be going back to for some TLC jobs including a new front window in the coming months! I cannot fault my Bateson Ascot. The ponies always travel well in it, and is very straightforward to tow.

Bateson customer service is fantastic. I have rung with numpty queries and have always received patient help. The parts service is quick and efficient and also really good value. Thank you :)

I bought my trailer brand new in 2012 and it still looks as good as new! I have used this trailer to teach all my young horses to load and travel and every horse has walked straight on and travelled perfectly. It is lovely and inviting due to the large head height. When looking for a trailer I needed something which was lightweight, able to carry large horses and excellent quality and Bateson was the only one to meet all my needs.

Have one of your trailers, fantastic trailer but think I need to upgrade as will soon be too small for the length of my load.

Bought my 520 in 1999 served me well. Came with a cover which they do not supply now. Had some quotes to replace over £ 190.
