Bath Mot

I booked an MOT with these people for Thurs 21 Sept, 2pm, i walked into the reception area and was greeted with blank faces, i thought i'd walked into the wrong building, a very bleak and dismal looking office. MOT at 2pm i said, a male reached out over a desk for my car keys, not a word, i took a guess at where i should wait. After about 5 mins i could hear my car alarm going off, for about 10 mins alarm on and off intermittently so i went to investigate, some gormless looking lad was sat in my car he had managed to move it about 5 ft but couldn't turn the alarm off, another engineer was stood by the drivers door, looked at me and said 'something wrong with your alarm' i went over, the gormless lad was looking at my keys with confusion written all over his face, i took the keys off him and pressed the button on top of the fob, you were pressing the wrong button Mike the MOT engineer said, the blind leading the blind i thought, as the fob only has one button which meant he had gained entry to the car by opening with the key instead of the fob, and these people were about to MOT my vehicle, this did not instil any confidence in me, what else could go wrong? Well it did, half way through the test they've had to abort because somehow they've managed to split a brake hose?? All this time i was sat in the dismal looking waiting room/office and not one person spoke to me they may as well of been the John Smiths cardboard cutouts. Now i recognised Mike from another garage, he was employed there for a very short while but wasn't the sharpest tool in the box and i wouldn't allow him to work on my car. If you ask someone to take the keys for a vehicle and put it on the furthest ramp a sane person would put the car on the ramp, not Mike, Mike took the keys and put them on the ramp. My advice do not allow Mike anywhere near your vehicle.

Have taken my car there three times now and these guys are wonderful. Proactive, friendly and helpful, no upselling or hidden agendas - just straight forward great service and advice. Can not recommend them enough.

These lot are life savers! Extremely friendly and go out of there way to help you. Mot car in no time. I returned for a retest. They are fab! Highly recommend!
