What Would John Belushi Do? Given that it's Friday, I'm pretty sure it would involve knocking work on the head and starting the weekend early. Have a great couple of days and we'll see you Monday.

Any love for The Carpenters out there? I know they are not the kinda thing you usually associate with us, but we are full of surprises here... When Mrs BathroomWall and I eloped/stiffed-all-our-pals-on-the-open-b ar, she walked in to We've Only Just Begun (normal service was resumed when we had Joey Ramone singing Wonderful World when we signed the register) so of course there is love for them here. How about you though

With a slightly different vibe to The Dirt, has anyone been to see Lords of Chaos yet? Let us know what you think

A couple of days ago we posted about Gene Wilder and there was rightly a lot of love for Wilder's performance in Blazing Saddles, so here's Mel Brooks. Any other favourite Brooks films out there?

The best album cover photograph ever? Not sure I can think of a better one. Thoughts?

Happy Tuesday to Jack Nicholson. Few actors have had as many iconic performances in their career and surely we all have our favourite? I'm torn between Chinatown and One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest. How about you?

Quick favour... Please can you vote for "other" and put "Michael Butler - FeatherWitch. Michael is also host of the fantastic Rock N Roll Geek Show podcast which is THE longest running music podcast in the world (no, seriously, it is). Michael also handles all our US returns for us, so please help out. Cheers https://www.musicradar.com/…/who-are-th e-hottest-bass-playe…

What an AMAZING response to yesterday's post about our Queen Not Greatest Hits playlist. But did you see the first post in the Not Greatest Hits series about the Rolling Stones? Have a listen and let us know if anything missing. What are you pleased we included? You don't need a paid account to listen.

For no other reason, other than the fact everyone seems to love it when we post Thin Lizzy stuff, here's a photo for you. Quite how anyone can wear their jeans that high with a T-shirt tucked in and still look so damn cool is an absolute mystery.

Episode 2 of "NOT Greatest Hits" is up and we are delighted to bring you QUEEN.... https://spoti.fi/2VcZss6 Thanks SO MUCH for your help yesterday, we hope you like the results. Let us know what you think in the comments

It's not either of their birthdays or anniversaries, and as far as I can tell, none of their films were "released on this day". Doesn't stop them being two of the finest comedians of their time.
What are your favourite performances by either of them - together or individually?

Here's Neil Young looking happy to help brighten your Monday. Neil will be featuring in an upcoming edition of "Not Greatest Hits", so do you have any suggestions for his best obscure tracks and deep album cuts? With such an amazingly deep career, there has got to be some great tracks that even our favourite hairy Canadian had long forgotten about?

Next up in our NOT Greatest Hits playlists is going to be Queen. So let’s have your suggestions for the forgotten and overlooked tracks. Nothing on any of the three Greatest Hits albums or the Bohemian Rhapsody soundtrack (otherwise I’d be opening with Keep Yourself Alive). Will be interested to see if there is going to be much love for Innuendo or The Miracle.

Deviating slightly from the music but the Bob Dylan track, The Hurricane, keeps us somewhat on topic... Anyone else been listening to the Hurricane Tapes podcast? I'm a couple of episodes behind, so no spoilers please, but what do you think? Any other podcasts worth listening to? Any topic, any genre. Let us have your recommendations

As Henry Rollins said, these are the times that Joe Strummer trained us for. So let's not let him down. Whatever you believe in and want to fight for, may the hand of Joe guide you

There I was finishing off a forthcoming design for Black Sabbath's Supernaut and I discovered that my favourite Sabs riff wasn't on their Ultimate Collection (even the expanded one)! So I started thinking about other great tracks that never get featured live, on playlists or compilation albums. There's loads! So we have started a new section of playlists on the blog dedicated to those deep album cuts or as we've called them, NOT Greatest Hits. Let us know what you think, who we feature next and what tracks to include. We started though, at the top with the Stones.... http://blog.bathroomwall.com/…/not-grea test-hits-deep-albu…/
