Bathwick Baby & Toddler Group Description
The Bathwick Baby and Toddler Group meet twice weekly at Bathwick St Mary’s Church Hall on Wednesday and Friday mornings between 10am – 12pm (including school holidays).
We are a fun and friendly drop-in group for babies, toddlers, and their parents, grandparents and carers, offering indoor play, crafts, outdoor activities (if the weather permits) and singing at the end of each session.
The entrance fee is £2 per family, which includes fruit juice, breadsticks and fresh fruit for the children, and coffee and tea all morning for the adults.
We organise family events throughout the year and fund raise for children’s charities close to our hearts. Our summer party takes the form of a garden fete with a bouncy castle, cakes, games, BBQ and Pimms. At Christmas, we host a Christmas party where we have party games, food and a visit from Father Christmas.
Sessions are set up and run on a rota basis by volunteers, parents and carers, guided by an informal committee. We are always thankful for anyone who is able to offer his or her time to help.
