They all want to be in the photo! These guys are getting big now. They are enjoying this fabulous weather we're having.
Is he not the most handsome beast? Ronnie is looking forward to Sunday. He gets to go and see his girls. So hopefully we'll see lambs by next April!
Well our web site is live battscottagecountryproduce.com
Double trouble!
But after the initial confusion, he got there in the end!
Dave wasn't that keen...
Today's Dave selfie 😀😀
Two of these arrived today. Not for my pack of dogs, no.... To halter train the sheep for showing next year. I will try to take video... I have a feeling it might be quite fun!
Bilbo baggy pants. We tried to name him something noble and grand, but to be honest he's a bit of a plonker so it fits!
The not so white leghorns enjoying a dust bath in the ashes from the bonfire.
Turkeys are doing well. They have today discovered that stinging nettles hurt! They enjoy eating them though, so I guess they'll get used to it.
That's what she thinks of her adoring public!
We have some girls at the Baltonsborough Show today. It has stopped raining (she says, looking upwards hopefully) If you're in the area come and have a chat!
Something tells me he's a bit peeved that I was a little late with the food this afternoon!
These little ones are doing really well. They love being out sunbathing!
This rather gorgeous chap has the unenviable task of keeping the hens in order. Richard our last cockerel did a grand job, but was taken by a fox a few weeks ago as he tried to defend his girls. The new boy is a Gold Brahma and he needs a name. We are open to suggestions! Let us know what you think he should be called.....
Getting used to life outside, being baby turkeys. Like all babies, they eat lots and sleep even more!
The turkeys are here! Must mean Christmas is just round the corner! NO, NO, NO! In all seriousness, if you'd like a turkey for Christmas, please drop us a line. We will take your details and a small deposit to secure your bird. We have a few more birds this year, so hopefully there won't be as many disappointed people as last year.
