Busy day so far at the BINDT Workshop on NDT requirements for Heritage Railway Boilers here at Alresford, Mid Hants Railway. Interesting discussions this morning looking at fire box and boiler plate samples and the challenges involved in inspection and method development. Lots of us use these classic railways, steam trains and heritage train lines - good maintenance practice, as ever, is key....
