We had a lovely couple of days can't fault any of time we spent there, and the entertainment was brilliant too

The rooms were spotless and the staff were brilliant thank you for the time we spent there

The hotel management and staff very helpful, the bedrooms are well laid out.

Meals were very well cooked and presented, something you don't often find in a 3star hotel.

Amenities and location just perfect, overlooking Paignton Harbour.

Really enjoyed it to the point where we stayed for another fourdays well situated lovely staff great food will be going again in the very near future

Loved our week away so much we're going again at the end of August. Great staff, good food, everyone lovely to talk to, nothing seemed too much trouble. I wrote a longer review on trip advisor whilst I was still there because of ridiculous complaints I was reading.

We went on a couple of the trips organised with Shearing holidays enjoyed those. The driver was very knowledgeable about the places we visited. The next holiday we've booked is a leisure break just so we can see more of the area. Would definitely recommend!!

A beautiful hotel in a brilliant location. Gorgeous seaviews. Staff are friendly and helpful. Rooms clean, very comfy beds and breakfast was delicious. Would definitely recommend. Thank you for a brilliant weekend! See you all again soon x

Very good we do this trip at Leicester a year

The hotel have looked after me superbly when I went to them for 5 days as my husband has been admitted to intensive care at Torbay hospital.A lovely hotel close to the sea. Quirky with steps all over both inside and out. Lift to all floors. Food good and multiple choice. Snacks available for the public as well.

The Bay Esplanade is a old hotel well run good food good entertainment and friendly helpful staff we once my wife and I met while working there in 1980 and we have been back a few times since and have seen the money that has been spent on it.

It is right on the seafront close to the harbour and is a flat stroll of 10 minutes into town the surrounding area is super for walkers and shoppers and a trip on the Dartmouth steam railway is a must.

Lovely views; pleasant staff. Bedroom small but warm. Lovely weather during day but cold at night.

Great staff , service and good food . Our room 209 quite small with tiny shower room . Could do with upgrading especially shower room . Step up into shower very high about 18 inches . Having a nice stay despite room and fire alarm going off at 4 am one morning

In an excellent location but very disappointed with hotel. Booked with Shearings for room with walk in shower, hotel say they don't have any. To access shower you have to step up about 18". Hotel very poor for mobility impaired. Room painted battleship grey, food uninspiring. Breakfast is a buffet, which I didn't realise when booked. Would not come back.

Small dark rooms, very poor food, not what was expected. Room had a loverly view of painted walls !!!
