Very quirky and not ideal for caravans but lovely views and not far from robinhoods bay.
Great place! Nice walk to robin hood's bay and a great sunrise if it's clear.
Toilets and showers are clean and work good.
The price was good and it had basic facilities. The views were fantastic but the wind was so strong the tent was lifting up. It's far too exposed and this was in the middle of summer.

Can't really complain: good price for facilities and great location. Three washing up sinks and four showers (could do with more for peak season). We arrived to the site really late do to terrible journey, but the on duty campsite owner was understanding and help when we finally arrived - offering loads of advice. Place good for camping and caravans but if you camp make sure you have a decent tent because the site is right at the top of a hill next to the sea and very windy! (Three people's tents got blown in when we were there!!)
What a fantastic place for views! Stayed here in a tent, on a slope, in the wind but what else do you expect on top of a cliff. The showers were hot and there's amenities for washing pots and recycling. The site is situated along the cinder path and a short distance from Whitby, Robin Hoods Bay and Scarborough. The road in is very bumpy but it won't stop us from visiting again.
Stunning views and a very chilled out campsite. Toilets and showers very clean. We will definitely be going back to this campsite. It is slightly windy but you are high up on the cliff overlooking Robin Hoods Bay so take a windbreak with you. Walk into the bay around 25 minutes.
Just perfect for a low cost escape, great views and location.
At first we found the bumpy drive off putting but this makes sense if you consider the increased traction in winter.
