Love this place. Food is always really tasty. Hearty, uncomplicated food. Well stocked bar and fabulous outdoor seating area with spectacular views. Fab place for a sundowner, or even a midday beach break. Chilled, surfy feel and quite a young vibe, but always very friendly and approachable staff. Great play area for kids too and on site parking. Bar area and slightly more upmarket restaurant.
Took the family (8 of us) for a meal. Large portions & decent food, good choice of drinks, very friendly, staff great & reasonably priced with amazing views of the sea & surf. If the sun is shining plenty of tables for alfresco dining & great little play area for kids. Very surf orientated, light & fresh but can get very busy in peak periods.
We went for lunch on a wet Wednesday. Hosts very welcoming, good beer and food was tasty and plentiful. Good choice for children too. Playground outside had a good selection. Great views of the bay!
The views from this pub in good weather is superb. The food and service was good. Plenty of parking and free wifi if you need it. I had king prawns in garlic and they were delicious. Definitely worth a visit.
Excellent food and views. The pub does get very busy with families and dogs in the holiday seasons (for good reason).
I would give 5 stars but I've often had to stand at the bar when there have been 5 or so members of staff behind it over quite a few minutes choosing not to priotise serving me.
Overall though it's my favourite place to eat in Bude.
Great food with an amazing view. Had the Fish Pie which I would recommend.
