My Peugeot 308 was sent to Bayliss Vauxhall bodywork shop at Gloucester, it had extensive damage to the front passenger door, sill and wheel arch panel from a concrete bollard at morrisons, i received it back today and it looks pristine, you would not know it had been damaged, Fantastic work, thanks very much!

Just back from Baylis Cirencester, can not fault the service, attention to detail and thoughtfulness of the whole team. A bouquet of flowers for my wife, a replica toy car for my son and a great deal on a car. I cannot thank Emily and her manager for the excellent experience they gave my wife and our family enough.

I use Baylis in Ross on Wye, In fact I have bought my last three cars new from them and they have always looked after the cars (and me!). I find them very courteous.and always helpful. I always ask for the car to be ready at a certain time, and have never had any problem. If I call in because I have a light I don't understand, they will come out and look and tell me what is happening - all in all, I wouldn't want to go anywhere else.

I first used Baileys glos last month for an MOT as was fed up with shoddy garages messing around and in my option doing shoddy work so thought I would get my MOT done properly this year.

I was very impressed with the staff at baileys in particular the lady who called me to discuss monthly payments schemes for my MOT & Service which I signed up too meaning I don’t need to worry about putting money aside when it’s due next year. I was kept informed during the day and my car was dropped back to me on the agreed time. Highly recommend them as really good service, thank you. A happy customer �

Completely satisfied from my car being recovered to vauxhall, having received a youtube video of the inspection martin had undertaken explaining to me with his expertise knowledge the faults with my car and bringing it to my attention and showing me a few other things that really needed sorting, I'm so pleased to have had the opportunity to watch the video what a great idea because without this and the visual health check I would of been none of the wiser and causing damage to my car👍 then to the lovely Andy calling me to go through everything in the slightest detail and accommodating me to costs of parts that were needed.

Nothing was too much trouble here at vauxhall and also arranged for my car to be delivered to my home thanks Nicole. Vauxhall bayliss team at Gloucester thank you all so much for getting me back on the road, I will never take my car anywhere else now I know it's not as expensive as people think or say and whats bether ive set up a monthly service plan ready for my next mot and service. Went to Baylis Hereford on 11-02-2017 saw a car i liked had a test drive ,paid a holding fee ,i was informed i could have at least 24 hours to think over the buying of the car. No more than 3 hours later the salesman phone me and said they wanted a decision there and then .Went back to Baylis Hereford spoke to a salesman who took me to see the manager ,who gave me the impression i was wasting his time ,i got my holding fee back ,not very happy with the managers attitude .

Customer service skills are seriously lacking.

My van was booked in due to a recall on my 2017 vivaro van. I asked them to address a problem with the service indicator whilst booked in, i was told an hour to do the work and reset the indicator.

I sat in waiting area for two hours before i got up to see what was going on.

I saw my van parked outside as i approached service desk.

I asked if they had finished the work.

A member of the service team went to the workshop and retrieved my keys and handed them to me. So my van had been repaired and was just sat out there for how long I don't know. Then to top it all i started my van up to see the service light had not been switched off.

Serious lack of communication between their workshop and service desk and no communication or updates to me at all.

Very very poor Baylis....

‪The Cirencester branch clearly sell so many cars they don't need any extra business? Staff also must feel having a coffee break is more important that greeting or even acknowledging customers in their showroom. But if you would like to view some of the cars they sell, they have some parked in and across the disabled bays outside. ‬

When taking my car and explaining what was wrong with it I was not told at the point of handover that I would be charged £48 for the assessment. I was then advised by the staff that the work required would be an astronomical amount to which I was shocked as I was quoted a price on the telephone prior to taking the car here which was reasonable. The price then dropped in excess of £400 which made it hard to believe the price they tried to charge me in the first place.

The customer service staff were scruffy, unhelpful and had a very bad attitude to the customer. After declining the work to be carried out to my car as the fee was so high I returned to your branch to collect my car to be told I had to pay £48 for the assessment however I was not told this at the point of handing the car over and I felt intimidated that I had to pay the £48 before your employee would give me the keys to my car.

I think it is totally unacceptable that I was forced to pay £48 that I was not told I would have to pay to simply get my car back. Overall the service was absolutely terrible in all aspects of my visit, I put my faith in my local Vauxhall branch of which I have now lost and am very disappointed in the level of service from such a big reputable company like Baylis.

Took my Matiz in,as it was making a nasty noise (noise changed on road speed,not engine speed) and was charged £80 to be told "some gearbox bearings have gone,new gearbox £1000 to replace".Same day took it else where,garage owner sussed out off-side wheel bearing worn in 5 minutes....wife went back with receipt and after much shouting we got our "hard earned" £80 labour charge back.

Just rang Baylis Worcester they said they sent over a report regarding the faults on my vehicle to Vauxhall Techincal on Wednesday. Funny how the techincal team have said they have not got any report from Worcester. So someone is lying and I have had this hassle for weeks now!!!! My advice to anyone wanting to have there car or van looked after by Baylis is to stay well away, I have never experienced such poor customer service. Come on Baylis you are representing Vauxhall, and doing a very poor job.

Fine if all you need is a service or MOT, no good for Diagnostics no help. Took my car in for diagnostics of a problem only to told I needed to take my car back again the next for diagnostics. Being charged £85 per hour for diagnosing that my car needs diagnosing. I wonder many times they would keep charging me for the same work.

Absolutely disgusted at Baylis Gloucester. Funny how the review from my partner and his dad have been removed because it’s not a glowing record.

Your salesman Sim, promised us first view on a Vauxhall corsa for Thursday morning because the car was going offsite on the Wednesday when we wanted to come to view it. We live 100 mile round trip from Gloucester, so was assured everything would be ready for us at 10.30 Thursday morning, as it was his day off was Wednesday (what a funny coincidence that the car was offsite during his day off). Thursday morning 9am i get a call to say “someone put a deposit on the car yesterday” even though we hadn’t left a deposit over the phone we were told the car wouldn’t be there to be viewed by anybody else so would be fine for Thursday morning. So a little angry come 9am to get that phone call after getting ourselves and our little boy ready.

Spoke to a very unhelpful and uninterested sales manager who confirmed that the car was actually onsite the entire day Wednesday and they don’t send cars offsite because they have their own workshop.... absolutely disgusted at the lies being told to us!

Since this we have found the perfect car from an independent dealership who gave us fantastic service, didn’t lie to us and are going to put a set of brand new tyres on for me at no extra cost... steer clear of main dealerships people. Only after your money. If this somehow doesn’t get deleted I’d like management to listen to the telephone conversations with this salesman to confirm my comments. He really needs some work done to his customer service skills and his lies. He also said on the phone that “he doesn’t care about the sale” is that someone you want in your company? Give your heads a wobble.

AVOID GLOUCESTER AT ALL COSTS!! To put it short they employ liars. I would love to mention his name but that may result in the review been taken off.. We were very keen and interested to see a vehicle yesterday. However I was advised that the vehicle was OFF SITE so no one else could view it (funnily enough it was also the salesman’s day off). Apparently it was off site due to an MOT. Hmm a 16 plate.. Why would it need an MOT when they are due 3 years from new?? After questioning this, the story soon changed. It wasn’t on site due to a vehicle check that they have do with all used cars away from there dealership... Anyway I was well assured that we would be the FIRST to view the vehicle on Thursday morning 10:30am. The appointment was all booked up for us. He was well aware that we were travelling over 50 miles to Gloucester.



Thursday morning came, all ready to go.. Literally pulling off the drive to receive a phone call saying that the car had been sold YESTERDAY. Funny that after we were told it wasn’t even on site yesterday! Selfish salesman blatantly putting us off because he wanted to try and get the sale in for himself! I spoke to the salesman whose final words of the outcome were “I don’t care”. Following that I then spoke to the business manager who sounded like an automated robot who couldn’t careless (putting it nicely). He confirmed that the vehicle had actually been on site all day since it’s arrival. He also confirmed that they never send vehicles away for checks as they have there own service workshop!!! Shocking experience. AVOID.
