Lovely campsite come here every time we go to the lakes
Lovely and friendly family and lovely camp site the views are spectacular :)
Can't wait to return

For the area, this is great value for money. Facilities are functional and clean. Can be a bit of a trek to find flat ground. Great for hikers, perhaps not so great for families, no playground etc. But there is the river running gorgeous woodland for adventures and skimming stones.

Worst place I've ever stayed, packed in like sardines and with no room to breathe! Just a money making venture with no respect for campers, utterly aweful!

Best camp site always use this good facilities and location .cheap rates very good value highly recommended for the proper campers

Lovely views all round and much to see and visit in the area. Very peaceful site even in the high season. No fridge facilities and it does say owners can keep your ice packs in the fridge for you but you can see they mind a lot and make faces but who cares if you have a lovely exceptional stay apart from that.

Amazing views of the Langdale Pikes. Shower and Washing block regularly cleaned. Continuous hot water. £7.50 a night for car and tent per person

I would highly recommend this site. £9.00 a night all in compared to National Trust site £24.00 a night? for camping? Do yourselves a favour Use Bays Brown instead.
