Try before you buy this weekend at Baythorne Wines. There's lots open to taste thanks to corkscrew-happy Dickie. There's even some delicious port and dessert wines for those with a sweet tooth. We'd hate for anyone to miss out on finding the perfect Christmas wine, so we're now open every day until Christmas, including Sundays. I'll be here from 10am to 4pm tomorrow, Tarka's Cafe will be open and the Christmas Tree barn (The Tannenbaum Christmas Barn) is still full of wonderful looking trees. Plenty of reasons to visit.

A couple of announcements today.
First is in the new year we will be joined on site by Ben & Ella's farm shop. They are taking over our old games barn, giving it a spruce up and opening a wonderful addition that will also include freshly baked goods.

Local producers centre stage here at Baythorne Hall. Award winning wines from Tuffon Hall Vineyard promoted to the prime window spot, Beer shelves from Bishop Nick and Nethergate Brewery full to bursting, and the excellent gins from Suffolk Distillery right by the tills where you can't miss them. Why? Because they're all absolutely delicious.

Look what turned up today. The first 2016 Vintage Ports. It's a fabulous vintage, but you'll need to be patient as it will only be reaching its best in 18 - 25 years from now. I had a grand time at the Indian Cookery classes last Saturday with Saira Hamilton. My husband was very pleased with what I brought home - most excellent in every sense of the word.

I fully recommend visiting the wine and cheese shops.... The staff were amazing and the wine is very reasonably priced.... Will definitely be going back go stock up on my prosecco!

Had an amazing time again at the voyage of discovery evening this time , delicious food and some fantastic and very interesting wines , some good to learn about the various wines amongst great company of friends and very knowledgable hosts , thank you again , can't wait until the next evening �����
