Went during happy hour and assumed it would be manic. It wasn't. It was busy but the staff were brilliant and the guys serving drinks engaged with anyone waiting to order and were serving 3 or 4 people at a time. The drinks were excellent. The quality of the booze superb and the music perfect. Being 39 and and a bit of a bar snob I would totally come back.

Great cocktails , nice atmosphere, just not enough room for everyone. Lucky enough to seat while enjoying the delicious drinks. Would go backfor more, for sure!

User

Great atmosphere good music and good cocktails

User

The cocktails were great I would definitely go back the Bar staff were very knowledgeable

User

Lively atmosphere, great music, always busy, but this is expected as so popular, lovely cocktails, people are very happy and friendly here

User

Always love B@1 and have decent nights out, had a great masterclass and happy hour.. stockpiled drinks before 7pm as £9.50 a drink is ridiculous.. great music and vibe.. shame my friend got kicked out for wearing her hat indoors. Would return for music and drinks.. door staff could do better

User

Affordable. Good atmosphere. Very good. Nice staff.

User

It's my least favourite branch. There is little decoration in the bar and It lacks the usual vibe because of the bored staff. They were begrudgingly making the drinks.... I'd go back as will put up with most behaviour for cheap decent drinks

User

I found the staff really nice and the door staff polite and music was spot on unfortunately £36 for 3 drinks was just too expensive for me and my girls would have liked to stay all night found a cheaper pub with equally good atmosphere and rounds we could afford

User

Your door staff are a disgrace. 6 foot black guy with beard on the door judging arbitrarily who is allowed back in, delivering his decision in a hugely antagonistic way. When we question him about it, he then calls us a c*nt. Sort your security out. Hugely unprofessional.

Worst beatone I have visited.Service was slow and surly and staff were flippant.Bouncers acted like the fun police and anyone seeming to have a good time was reprimanded or shown the door.Table was reserved and ordered drinks were messed up.Ladies toilets were disgusting with 3 men working with the floor up trying to remove blockages, apparently this happens regularly! As a regular beatone visitor this has put me off visiting again in the near future.

Was having a great night then my friend went out for a cigarette and tripped up the curb on her way in, a bouncer then told us her we had to go because she was drunk. It was my friends birthday party we had paid for a drinks reception, table booking etc. All my supposedly drunk friend needed to do was put her flat shoes on, she was merry but far from drunk we had been in there for a couple of hours. Very upsetting for my friend.

Very nice cocktails, and good value during happy hour. It is a nice atmosphere when you turn up at 4.30 on a Saturday considering that other places don't get going until much later. However I had a very unpleasant encounter with one of the bar staff who was extremely rude. The bar area was very busy, and when I asked him if 2 drinks were the negroni cocktails I had ordered, he shouted, "Does it look like it?!" He made another rude comment when I asked about the other drinks on the way. I could not believe the attitude we had to put up with and the shocking behaviour. You are serving a customer and taking their money. If you cannot be polite you should not be interacting with customers. Well guess what? not all of us drink cocktails everyday and we don't necessarily know what each cocktail looks like when you put it down on the bar and dozens of customers are standing there waiting for drinks. When we ask about the drinks, we don't expect to be the object of a tirade.

It was an unpleasant moment on an otherwise nice Saturday and I thoroughly shocked and wont be coming back, we will go to the Oxford St branch and hope the staff their are more pleasant to deal with.

It was my friends 21st birthday and so we booked a table at the venue. There were 10 of us. We turned up and were first of all made to pay entry. I just thought this was odd as we were paying a lot more for the privilege of having a table and so to then be made to pay entry was a joke. We went in and paid our entry and waited for someone to take us to our “table.” We turned up to see people sitting there and then had to wait another 5-10 minutes while someone came and cleared the table/people on it for us. I say “table” because it was about the size of a bedside table for TEN people!!! We were all standing around it because there was nowhere to sit and could barely even put our drinks down on it. Not to mention the woman in the bathroom had the WORST attitude. She was sooo rude and clearly didn’t want to be there and just kept snapping at anyone who walked in. She shouted at another girl for putting her bag down whilst she fixed her hair in front of the mirror...

I've organized our Company Christmas party last Thursday and we were around 40 people and the space allocated to us was quite tiny for the number of people. Having said that all was fine until one of the times I was coming out of the toilet one of your security guys out of the blue decided that I was to drunk and I needed to go outside. I told him that I don't really agreed with his assessment as I was not even creating any problem, he insisted so I just agreed and left.

I've asked him if I can get my stuff from the locker room first and I told me that they will do it later once I’m outside.

Once outside I asked again for getting my stuff and one guy appeared took my bracelet locker and come back with my jacket and my scarf was missing I told him that and he went inside again and did not find it, he gave a card with a phone number and told me to call the next day and all should be fine.

I’ve call the number on Friday and someone told me that he was going to look for it on the lost and found and he will come back to me. I’m still waiting for an update and I don’t think having paid for the locker room you are providing a good service and you should be responsible for the items that you store in th e locker room. If you had let me get my stuff on the way out this could have been easily avoid.

User

Clearly you need to change your opening hours since you turned people away at 2:25 when you ‘close’ at 3. Sort it out.

User

Booked a table for 10 people turned up to a table that you could seat 2 maximum and we had to wait while they cleared people and their drinks from our table. This was a night out for my friends 21st and we left very disappointed and will not return nor would I recommend this place to anyone especially after the way the staff treated us. Also after paying for a table why should people then need to pay to enter the bar to access their prepaid table... Baffling

User

Absolutely disgusted at the way we were treated. Paid £100 for a table for ten of my friends and then arrived to find two seats... had to wait for the table to be cleared and was made to pay entry. The attitude of the staff was just foul. Worst night out ever.
