The problem with the work I do is that strange things like street furniture and barriers are of great interest

The Bodyguard was the most watched BBC drama for 10 years.
Now I know that all my friends and colleagues that do this line of work have been saying how inaccurate some parts are but surely no one would be surprised by that. Real life often does not fit a good story or around your key star.
However has this series made you think more about your own personal security or do you just think of it like Jason Bourne or James Bond - Nothing to do with me, its a fantasy world.

Dubai was fantastic.
Just got back in the UK and I would like to thank all the people who took time out of their busy day to meet me and discuss how we could possibly work together.
I have travelled on business for years and on behalf of my own for the last 10. It never ceases to amaze me how across countries, cultures and market sectors how helpful, open and welcoming people can be.

I have seen a few people commenting on this in different ways so I thought I would throw my oar in.
As someone who no longer travels to the city every day but often still does so to visit clients this comes as no surprise. The old 9 to 5 work day no longer exists if it ever did. People are constantly on email or some other app as part of their work or social life. The old work life balance isn't the same as it once was. I personally think this probably goes back to the start ...of the Blackberry (hands up who remembers them).
However from a security and fraud perspective lets use some sense. You do not know who is looking over your shoulder and if your smartphone or tablet is not using a VPN then you do not know who is looking at your messages/data/spreadsheets/quotes/images etc.
I know it sounds far fetched but public wifi should trigger that term in your head - PUBLIC.
When recently giving a training workshop on safe travel, fraud prevention and risk no one had a VPN on their phone and all dealt with business critical sensitive data. Its like leaving a folder of all your quotes, HR data and everything else open for everyone to read.
