Pasha enjoyed his walk yesterday with Joanne who let him drag her through the nettles so he could eat the buds on the trees, true alpaca love 💕

Tonight on The Yorkshire Vet Ebony one of our original elderly females now cared for by Milla Fields Alpacas, undergoes an operation to remove a large lump from her toe

All the alpacas enjoyed the sunny weather over the weekend. Especially Cosmo, Pasha and baby Hope!

Krug did an expert job today leading the alpaca group, celebrating with a hen do and other alpaca fans.

The Beacon staff had a busy morning halter training the cria! (Hermione left and Henrietta right). Frankel had a relaxed day off whilst the other boys entertained the customers on the walk 🦙

The cria are all doing well and getting to know Isla the pup from the other side of the fence. Hope loves her red coat and is holding her own in her favourite spot sat next to the hay 💖

The snow has gone today but the boys were a bit worried about their being no grass this weekend

Went today as a birthday treat. I loved it! The weather was awful (snow, sleet, hail, rain) ! But it was still great fun. Jacki is so lovely, as are all the alpacas. My daughter & I will definitely be back, hopefully in better weather. This really was the best birthday present ever. Xx

Went here yesterday and walked Garvy and Gabriel with my 14 yr old son and we had an absolutely amazing couple of hours. Loved the Alpacas, the views and Jacki who was a wonderful host, so friendly & knowledgeable. Couldn’t recommend this enough and will definitely be back � xx

We had a wonderful visit to Beacon Alpacas, I had adopted Didier for my Husband, for his birthday. This included a visit. What a fantastic place. Jacki the owner is a extremely knowledgeable and friendly Lady. She made us very welcome. The Alpacas are gorgeous and well looked after. It was a pleasure to see them. The farm is in a beautiful setting , near Thirsk. Highly recommended, for people of all ages.

We had a lovely time visiting the alpacas. It's a really good set up and they are all much loved and have a lovely home in a beautiful part of the countryside​. The walk is a gentle stroll for about an hour. The alpacas are quite amusing and handle well and they have plenty of chances to stop for a nice munch on some grass.

Visited Jacki a year ago from Ireland and can honestly it was one of the best experiences ever. Jacki is lovely and so informative, happy to answer any questions and knows everything about alpacas. All of her alpacas are to to die for, lovely characters. I got to walk Lothario and loved him, such a sweetheart. Such an enjoyable experience.

Took my daughter and three friends for her 12th birthday. IT WAS AMAZING! All the kids loved it and and adults too. We were so well looked after and never rushed. The animals are so beautifully cared for and known so well. The my daughter said it had been the best birthday ever! I can’t recommend it enough!!! We WILL all be back thank u from the bottom of my heart for making it so perfect xxxx

This was a little piece of heaven!

My daughter has chronic fatigue and Aspergers, this was her first day out in a long time and she had a big smile on her face. I fell in Love with Pasha, but all the alpacas are so therapeutic and make you feel happy in your heart.

Jacki is so friendly and cares about people, this comes across. Will be coming back <3

Such a lovely experience. Jacki is a star and the Alpacas are such lovely animals to be around. Wrap all that up with beautiful countryside in a smashing partof the world and you shouldn’t overlook any opportunity to visit.

My partner & I spent the afternoon with Krug the Alpaca - a leader & ladies man! This was a Christmas present from my daughter & we picked a lovely sunny day. The alpacas were all well behaved & had lovely natures - happy to be stroked, pose for photos & eat grass. Jackie gave us an introduction to each alpaca, giving us their name & an insight into their personalities! We walked slowly for an hour & a half stopping for snack stops (grass!). We got to see a new baby & feed the alpacas their treat after returning from the walk. It was a great day!

I booked a walk for my daughter in law to be and myself on my Birthday and because I can't make her Hen do!!

Lovely adventure. Marik and Jackie are enthusiastic and no sense of been here done this before. They both obviously love what they do. Jackie was very attentive to detail.

I recommend wholeheartedly to anyone thinking about booking! Just do it!

Huge thank you to Jackie for allowing us to come visit after our daughter Jessica had, had her day yesterday with Peter and Julian of The Yorkshire Vet. This was a granted Wish from Make a Wish fund following Jessica's diagnosis in November of Muscular Dystrophy. Jessica has had the most amazing couple of days and each of you have placed the biggest smile on her face and made such so wonderful memories for her to treasure. Jessica will definitely be keeping in touch thank you �

Had an absolute brilliant time with the children walking with Pasha & Didier. The children, Louie 10 & Daisy 14, loved every minute and didn't want it to end, so much so, we will be booking to go back before the end of the 6 weeks holidays. The views on the walk were amazing, could even see York Minster, it was so relaxing and peaceful, just plodding along. All the alpaca on the walk behaved impeccably, they are so adorable and easy to handle, even younger children would cope. Cannot recommend this place highly enough, beautiful location, friendly staff and even friendlier alpacas..thank you for a lovely experience

Had a lovely walk up a country road with about half a dozen alpacas and people, just a gentle stroll for about an hour as they like to keep stopping and enjoy being fed grass and clover on the grass verge. My alpaca was called Kim and he was 18 and quite chatty. After the walk you get to see some of the babies and feed some of the others who didnt come on the walk. A lovely experience. Jacki who has the farm is really lovely and so friendly.

Excellent day out. My husband gave me the walk as a 70th birthday present as Ive always wanted to walk with Alpacas. I wasnt prepared for such lovely creatures as Ive only seen them in photos etc. Jackie (the owner) couldnt have been more helpful and you can see she adores all her boys and girls. LOVELY will be back for another fix.

Attended for my cousins Hen Party was a fabulous afternoon thoroughly enjoyed by everyone in our group (10 of us) would highly recommend a great relaxing, peaceful and therapeutic activity!!

And now we can all say we’ve walked an Alpaca hehe great FUN xXx

Absolutely loved our day with Jacki and the alpacas! We had such fun with them and even the rain didn't spoil our day! Meeting the cria and the mothers afterwards was so special too! Such a lovely calming animal the alpaca. Jacki was lovely and helpful with info about them also, we had a superb time, so relaxed and no stress involved at all, we'd love to come again one day!! Absolutely amazing day! We were even lucky enough to see a baby alpaca born, well worth the time and money. Jackie was lovely and it's obvious how much she loves and cares for these alpacas! Highly recommend it to anyone who's even thinking about going x

A truly amazing experience walking with Alpacas, vert nice walk over the fields, and lanes. Cosmos the Alpaca I took for a walk loves his grass and clover snack stops. This really made my holiday. If I'm in Yorkshire again I will certainly do this again. Thank you Jackie and team.
