Beacon Bids

Great news for Buxworth AFC - almost £75k awarded by Sports England's Inspired Facilities fund so that the club can re-build its changing rooms on Western Lane. A much needed award! Thanks to all the members of the local community who completed the survey and the hard working committee. Well done everyone!

The new extension to the eco area at Buxworth School is fabulous. It's great that the children can now do pond dipping in Blackbrook and examine their findings on the platform. I'll post some photos soon.

Great news this week for another local school in New Mills - Beacon Bids has helped to secure just under £10k for playground equipment. More details soon!
