Went there yesterday with my mother and had a good time. Food was excellent, as was the service, and I would definitely recommend this place.

Went here today for the first time and the food was absolutely amazing... very cosy nice atmosphere will be going again

We visited this afternoon on our way back from Oldham.

Although busy & we arrived an hour early we were happy to sit in the bar area with a drink to wait for our table.

What a charming country pub.

We had 3 courses each and the food was gorgeous, great quality & reasonably priced. Staff are really friendly & nothing was too much bother.

We will definitely return.

Visited today for a meal with family. Absolutley amazing! The new decor is very nice. And the food was top notch, very tasty! By far the best pub i've eaten in for years. And great staff too. We will be back!!

Visited after reopening from the fire, can I say it is absolutely lovely from decor right down to food and lovely welcoming staff. We will be back everything was fabulous.

Lovely place. Tasty homemade food served by friendly staff.

It's hardly ever mentioned in reviews but I'm going to say this place has been rated 5 for hygiene which is as good as it gets. Bears paw came highly recommended to us by a friend. We went for lunch and I might be mistaken but I believe there is a different menu for the evening. You could eat here for as little as £5 but my wife and I went for the fixed 2 course menu...Still it was very reasonable. Good food and beer, nice staff, ample parking, clean toilets.

Had a lovely stay this weekend, great value, lovely food and very welcoming and professional staff. Very dog friendly too which suited our furry companion.

Great place, fabulous food and fantastic staff..what more could you ask for?...i love it here...My Nan and Step grandad (Beryl and Ken - if the staff read this) are regulars here and won't go anywhere else for a meal...I haven't found anywhere else that does food as good as this place....Excellent �... Definitely recommend.. and you won't be disappointed.... � X

Fantastic food,very reasonable prices. beautiful soft bread starter, the breaded chicken escallops where divine with the pink peppercorn sauce. The chocolate brownie was so soft and fluffy . Couldn't have been nicer or more friendly staff a very busy place wish you all the best for the future .

Absolutely beautiful restaurant.. cosy environment elegantly decorated and friendly staff.

The food was honestly delicious, one of the nicest 3 courses Ive ever had.

Great value for money too, will be bringing the whole family to this little gem.���

Excellent menu with much more on offer than the usual that’s out there, all the while very well priced. Great choice of beers, wines and spirits.

We had a party of 14+ 2 little ones and the service was impeccable, no hiccups.

Well decorated and maintained, clean throughout, including the rest rooms.

Lovely, helpful staff. A definite for return visits.
