I've decided to start provisionally opening up my diary for July/ August onwards in the hopes that we will be aloud to open the studio by then. Obviously this could all change but it gives you guys something to look forward too. If we are aloud to open up sooner, those who are already booked in will be given first refusal from the date we are aloud to operate at.
I also offer gift vouchers that I will be email only (postal services are extremely busy and i do not want to add... more stress to the system) so if you want to pre pay for your tattoo time (it always feels cheaper that way 😂) or cheer someone up by dropping a voucher into their inbox then just get in touch and I can have them emailed over.🙌
Lastly, this year I was due to put my hourly rate up by from £60 to £70 and i was aiming to do this in June, however the last thing you want after coming out of quarantine is a price increase so i have decided to suspend it until 1st September (unless the world ends).

☣COVID-19 Update on All appointments commencing 23rd March 2020 ☣
Due to the recent update situation I feel its my moral obligation to close the studio until further notice. It's a rather scary and uncertain time for us all, not just in the UK but world wide but the best thing we can do at the moment is not to panic and just be glad that we are not another number to add to the virus statistics.
... I will be contacting you all individually, sort out your appointments over tonight/tomorrow. I am happy to leave appointments in the diary 'as is' for apps after Easter Monday on wards but obviously rearrange the next 2-3 weeks (3 weeks on the basis Boris will evaluate the situation as he mentioned in his announcement), I t does seem however we are in this for the long haul Obviously I will be contacting you to discuss everything.
I still will be working with you all and sorting your ideas and designs, so if you have an idea feel free to drop me a message to chat as I'll have the time!
2010 was the year I started my Tattoo Apprenticeship and although I don't class myself as a tattooist from then I will be coming up to my 10th year in the industry in July and I feel I have become a little stale in keeping my creative juices flowing. Although this is going to be a rough few months financially I hope to use this time creatively and really find new and interesting styles of work, to practice my drawings and generally take some time to focus on other artistic avenues.

☣Important Customer Announcement☣
As it seems the dread of the COVID-19 is spreading across the UK, I'd just like to give you all some info on how we are going to deal with it here at BearSkin.
As many of you know, I have been sick with a virus for some weeks now and I have been to the Drs twice and both times they have basically fobbed me off saying its a basic cold, no doubt to being generally run down in myself is the reason its hung on for so long, And I have had to cance...l and rearrange many of you over the past 3-5 weeks (huge thank you to those who were ok with it!)
That being said, if I do not work, I do not earn a wage and my bills are not paid. So in light of the COVID-19 outbreak (and just the general sick bugs going around) If you have any signs of any illness at all or are just recovering from something PLEASE CONTACT ME TO RE ARRANGE YOUR APPOINTMENT. You WILL NOT lose your deposit (so long as i don't see you out on the town on facebook) and i will try and get you booked back in ASAP, Like I say the longer I'm ill the more ill struggle to work. However if you do turn up and you have a cough/ cold /sneezes and sniffles I will turn you away and you will lose your deposit.
I am still on the back end of this cough/ cold myself, that the Drs think I'm just being dramatic about, is on its way out, and I will be wearing a face mask throughout tattoo appointments so I don't spread my cough to you, you are also welcome to re arrange if you're worried you might catch something from me however I am getting better each day. You won't lose your deposit so long as you get intouch with me 24 hours before hand and have a chat with me about it!🤘🤘
