Beatroot Café is a family, community based, project run on a profit share basis. We provide nutritious home made food at realistic prices. All food is pre prepared in Jeanettes kitchen. Beatroot is unique and not a run of the mill high profit catering.

Our café is wholly vegetarian, in which we provide home cooked, nutritious and delicious food at realistic prices. Our menu ranges from authentic Indian spiced chai to “beatroot” burgers, tasty Tiffin and even a full veggie Sunday dinner.

All food is pre-prepared in Jeanette’s kitchen. The kitchen is covered by a local environmental health certificate and Beatroot café has all the relevant up to date documents required to sell food.

Beat-Root Café can also provide a 24 hour chill-out space or a venue style Cafe. We can offer contact for a larger tent hire (Roaming Tent co) to be used for a stage or a venue as their tents compliment our set-up, we now have a decent sized sound system to accommodate Dj's. In light of this, we are pleased to offer round the clock service in addition to a range of live /acoustic or electric musical entertainment, making Beat-Root Cafe the best place to drink a cup of Chai and watch the sun rise.


Beatroot café is a small family run collective, a bond that ensures a strong sense of love and care, values which we feel exude throughout the café and help provide a warm and inviting space. We run on a complete profit share / co-operative basis. All members of the team receive an equal share of any profit made, as do the festival organizers of any event we take part in. We have found that in order to maintain a realistic pricing policy, set within our unique environment, this is the best way we can operate. The venues we have previously attended respect this as we are hoping that you will too.
