'Home Waters' Book Signing Event!!
Lt Cdr Rob Hoole, RN will be signing copies of ‘Home Waters’ which he co-authored with Cdr David Bruhn, USN. Both writers have commanded minehunters in the Persian Gulf and have produced many books about naval mine warfare.
... Signed copies of 'Home Waters' will be sold for £26, £10 of which will be donated towards Project Vernon - the campaign to erect a monument in Gunwharf Quays, Portsmouth to celebrate the mine warfare and diving heritage of HMS Vernon, which previously occupied the site.
The signing starts at 11:05 am and will last until 2pm on Sunday 11th November 2018.

Went in for coffee for the first time on Monday on a friend's reccomendation and loved it! Delicious coffee, lovely surroundings and helpful staff. Went in again yesterday with my daughter and grandson and today am in having coffee with my husband! Highly recommended !

We had an amazing high tea which beat us. A huge selection of tea and coffee and what you don't eat you can take home. The staff were so helpful and attentive x can't wait to go back

Stopped in on way home from a race , fantastic carrot cake and coffee . Will definitely be returning .

Met friends there for brunch. I'm gluten free but plenty of choice. I had a cream tea. The scones were small but tasty all the same. Excellent advice given for my choice of coffee too.

I've visited 3 times for lunch and enjoyed excellent service, pleasant surroundings and most importantly very good food. I will be back again soon

Afternoon Tea at Beaton’s in Petersfield, really lovely!

The sandwiches were delicious, lots of filling, nice soft bread, cute little mini quiches and scrumptious cake and scones, which defeated us but we took home!

I had coffee (good strength and Hot!) and my friend had tea which she said was good.

The staff were friendly and attentive and the tea rooms had a very pleasant ambiance.

A lovely place to spend a couple of hours catching up with a friend �

The novelty of having one cheese and one traditional scone in a cream tea was great - the savoury element was delicious. Friendly staff, bright clean interior and a considerable choice for gluten free customers. Will definitely return.
