Left on Sep 14, 2018 for a stay in Sep 2018... What a wonderful place to stay. This brilliant cottage doesn't disappoint and the location is spot on for all amenities (beach,shops, chip shop etc),The owners communication was perfect and very friendly. The welcome gift was also a surprise (tea,coffee, crisp,chocolate, wine and dog treats) The only thing I would suggest would be a clothes horse or a retractable line to dry clothes after spending a day on the beach, but this is the only thing I would change. Thank you for the wonderful stay and will deffinatly come back, didn't want to come home. Shaun + Julie Meadows and the 4 knackered dogs. Another lovely review from a soon returning guest - Diane Buddery reviewed Beatrice Cottage, Winterton on Sea — 5 star May 14 · We had a Fri - Mon stay at Beatrice Cottage recently. What a gem! The location of this cottage is fantastic, with a three minute stroll to the beach and even quicker to the Chip shop (yum!). The cottage is perfect for 2 - 4 people, with a large lounge and two connected bedrooms. The stairs are original and so narrow and steep, something to bare in mind. Lovely touches of dog biscuits and a bottle of bubbly left for us by the owners. We'll definitely be coming again; thanks!

The welcome basket is amazing! treats for us and the dog ( sid says thank you ). We would love to stay again as winterton is fast becoming our favourite destination for holidays....it was our 4th time in the village! We would highly recommend. Thank you Nicola, Dave and Sid xx

5 of 5... The property was clean and immaculately presented throughout out. The kitchen was well equipped and the shower facilities were superb. The living room/dining room was comfortably large enough to allow both our 2 year old and 9 year old to play with their toys. And there was a good sized TV in front of which we could have a drink and spend time together when the kids were in bed. The bedrooms were a good side and the mattresses were lovely and firm. The master bedroom had amble space for our travel cot. The cottege could not have been better located in the village. Literally 5 minute walk from the beech and a well stock post office directly over the road. A good chip shop was 1 minute walk away as were almost all other amenities. We spent 3 lovely days there with our family and we could not recommended Beatrice Cottage highly enough. The biggest enforcement we could give it, is that we'll be looking to book a return visit very shortly. The owners are helpful and left a wonderful welcome basket including Prosecco, and the icing on top of the cake...a jar of marmite in the cupboard!!!! Stay here you wont regret it.

August 19 at 3:37 PM · have recently returned from a short break at Beatrice Cottage and would definitely recommend. this small character cottage had everything we wanted. the welcome basket was fab, the kitchen was well equipped, and the living room well sized but cosy. not only this but Winterton is a perfect location, especially if you have dogs, lots of lovely walks on the very dog friendly beach and dunes, including to the seal colony at Horsey. we didn't use our car once while we were there, dog friendly cafe and pub. lovely fish & chips right across the road, a newsagent & convenience store. pretty much perfect."

We are having a wonderfully busy first Summer at Beatrice Cottage and getting some beautiful feedback from our guests ! Dont forget we rent out all year round with dogs going free and are more than happy to cater for short breaks too.
