Hi. I'm Fi and I teach ballet, tap and street dance to experienced dancers and complete beginners. I trained at The Legat School of Classical Ballet and The Northern School of Contemporary Dance. I am also a qualified physiotherapist and so have advanced knowledge of anatomy and injury awareness and prevention.

To me there is nothing so powerful as people coming together to dance. Dance classes are the highlight of my week, it truly makes me happy. So whether you want to improve your technique or your physique, or just want to have a little fun please drop me a line or just come along to a class.

Adult Beginner Ballet
Saturday 9. 15-10. 15 @ La Scala
This is a lovely class for those who may have danced when they were younger, those who do not yet feel ready to be in a more advanced class or those who have never done ballet before. Ballet classes all follow a fairly set programme and so you can push yourself as little or as much as you want to depending on your experience and personal reasons for taking the class. We will work on technique and you will learn all the basic ballet postures and steps. This a wonderful class for those who want to work on their core strength, muscle tone and flexibility. It is also just wonderful to escape from the stresses of the day and feel like a ballerina for a little while.

Adult Beginner Tap
Saturday 11. 30-12. 30 La Scala
Bring out your top hats and canes! Tap is SO much fun. We will learn and practice the basic steps then work on a routine. When we're all in time together it feels and sounds fantastic. But don't worry if you have two left feet, you are welcome too. The main aim is to have fun! !

Kids' Street Dance (age 7 + )
Saturday 10. 30-11. 30 La Scala
This class is a great place for kids to get together and release some energy to their favourite music. The children will learn Street Dance steps and techniques and then put them together in a routine. Great exercise and brilliant for building confidence and self-esteem.

Kids Ballet (Primary to Grade 2)
Starting after school on Mondays from January '18
The children will use their imaginations as they enter the wonderful world of Ballet. The classes teach the children musicality and self-expression as they learn Ballet steps and positions. See the website or contact Fi for more details.

Toddler Dance Class (2-3 years)
Starting January '18 on Wednesday mornings. Each week we will enter a new world. We will listen to music and see how that music makes us feel and how it makes us move and dance!
