Beauty Box Nail Bar

A bit grubby but the only place in central london who are reasonably priced and do a quick/good job!

it was a horible experience at this salon.I used to go somewhere else for my SNS nail which they done prefecly nice and happy.As I work nearby I thought I would give this salon a try but was done very badly.Powders was all over my finger .the place very small and look un hygiene. Would defined wont come back .

Nice staff and did decent polish.
Really busy on manicure stands. We were there at lunch time and as soon as one person left another was jumping in. Loads of seats crammed in to get as many people in as possible. We had pedicures, nice having massage chairs but not a relaxing atmosphere to get nails done

I've been coming to this place for many years. Reasonable prices, fast but effecient, always try and fit people in. They offer other services other than nails which is always useful. The staff have been there for a long time and recognise loyal costumers. Couldn't recommend this place enough.

Not a good place to go for a beginner!

When I arrived the technician started on my nails before even asking me what I wanted. I stopped him and showed him a picture of what I wanted (French manicure style). I told him it was my first manicure and I didn't know what all the products were or what the terms meant, but could he please make my nails look like the picture. I told him what I think I need is their gel extensions.

I've attached a picture of what he did. He stuck white tips on my short nails so my nails were almost 50/50 pink/white. Not at all what I had asked for and to make it worse, I couldn't take it off because the tips are permanent. Knowing it was my first manicure, it would have been nice of him to tell me that it was permanent!

The reason I've given 2 stars instead of 1 is because Katie, who came and rescued my nails by skilfully painting gel on top of the tips was lovely.

It may just have been that one technician but based on my experience, not a good place to go if you're new, or want advice or a chat about your options! Very poor communication.

Pleasant staff, i booked last minute for a take off and new set Acrylic nails. The. Best set i've actually ever had, male Nail technician very pleasant and listened to my preferences and very gentle. Will definitely be back for their other services 10 Stars for Customer service

Came to Beauty Box to get my nails done for my wedding day and the result was really amazing!!! I'm really impressed! Also, the technician was really patient with me, helping me to choose the suitable color and design for my nails as I wanted something special because it was my big day!!! I highly recommend this place for friendly services, reasonable price and high quality nails!!!

I have been going to Beauty Box for about 2 years now. I usually have a full set of Gel acrylics or just a shellac manicure (if my nails need a break) and they are always amazing! I recently took my mum for a manicure and foot spa and they did a great job.

Sandy or Lilly are the best for nails. but generally all are really good!

I've visited twice now. I decided to stay away from nail varnish for a while as on my last visit I must have had a lady who had just started as on my first visit it was quick and very well done. I needed my shellac manicure taken off then a normal manicure. The lady I had put acetone wrapped around each nail with foil for five minutes then tried to scrap it off to no avail, so left the acetone on for a further twenty minutes! Another lady came and actually did it properly after realising the lady I had had no idea what she was doing. It's been about three months and my nails aren't back to 100% from having acetone on my nails for so long which is a shame as my first visit was so good. I'd recommend this nail salon but if you think it's going wrong, ask for another nail technician.

I had a Shellac Manicure at the Beauty Box. I am very pleased with my manicure, Rosie was friendly and professional and did a great job. I was done in less than an hour.

The only criticism I would have of Beauty Box is the environment, this is not the place to go for a nice relaxing manicure - it's a quick and convinient stop as it's a very busy place with too many beauty stations crammed in.

Best nail salon in London! I get my nails done in my lunch time and they look great and last around 5 days!

I decided to take my boyfriend and have mani/pedis because he has never done that before and I thought it would be nice with a professional French manicure for a wedding we were going too.
The girl hardly filed my feet at all on the bottom. On the top side of my foot I got a small burn/skin filed off (was sore and got a scab the day after). Very little work on the feet in general. The nail polish was not painted on the whole nail. I think my boyfriend’s pedicure was ok.

The manicure was the worst. My cuticle was cut, it bleed a little bit, but did not hurt then and there. The day after my fingertip was red and swollen and a very noticeable scab had appeared on my ring finger. A little over a week later and the cuticles do not look good. You can see that they have been cut. I asked for a round tip, she cut my nails straight and then filed the corners, they are square. The French tip manicure was awful. The girl sitting next to me was complaining about her French tip and it did not get better. The white line is very uneven and not all the way out to the edges of the nail. I do French manicures on myself and that looks so incredibly much better than what I paid 30 pounds for. My boyfriend’s manicure lasted between 8-12 minutes. She cut his cuticles and that was about it. He had short nails, but he had only cut them himself, they had pointy edges and definitely should have been filed smooth.

All in all a very disappointing experience.
