We hope you enjoyed our April Fools today! We've heard we had a few of you going so can we just say; for the love of God, PLEASE do not Cillit Bang or Cif your face!! 🤦🏻‍♀️
So, since we’ve been closed, we’ve had several requests asking for something you can do at home to improve your skin or maintain the results you’ve achieved from in our ‘in-clinic’ treatments.
... We are aware that many people are struggling financially at the moment so do not want to appear insensitive however, as we’re actively being asked for this, we've put together some ‘Home Treatment Programmes’ for those who are interested.
We've created 3 different programmes that can be sent to you in the post:
💜 Home Peel Programme 💜 Home Roller Programme 💜 Home Anti-Ageing Programme (Retinol)
Each has a ‘standard’ and an ‘advanced’ version. They can be tailored to your specific skin type and of course come with clear, ‘how-to’ guidance for home use.
Now, please don’t think we are letting the public loose on their faces with medical-grade chemical peels and long needles – AS IF! 😱 The peels are made up of extremely effective acids but in strengths that can do no harm, even in the most untrained hands! Plus the derma rollers are a firm favourite amongst our clients for home-use and we will be demo-ing how to use them properly!

Joking aside we really hope that you are staying healthy, strong and positive! We are (well, maybe not the healthy bit...), and we've been busy thinking about how we can best meet your needs until we get to see you again - and rest assured we WILL ...be here to see you all again when this is over!
We realise that skin care may seem a somewhat trivial topic what with everything going on around us but what we do know from our years talking to you all is if your skin looks good, you FEEL better! 😊 We also realise many people's financial situation is up in the air right now (us included!) so this isn't us trying to sell you things, it's about us offering some light relief to fill your time, sharing some of our knowledge & giving you handy tips and advice.
Sooo, we want to know, what do you want from us? We had a few ideas and would love to know what floats your boat (or even if you think an idea is rubbish!) so do comment or PM and let us know.
Would you be interested in any of the following? :
- Skype consultations with us (one to one)
- Zoom (another user-friendly version of Skype) calls for a small group. These would be 15-20 minute chats around specific skin problems (ie. acne, ageing skin, large pores, redness) and the solutions you can access whilst at home
- Facebook lives
- YouTube videos - maybe some 'How-To's'?
- Email/text updates
Again, we are very aware that to some of you this may seem a bit 'fluffy' and unimportant in the light of the current situation. We totally understand this and in no way do we wish to appear flippant or ignorant to the wonderful work our KeyWorkers are doing to save lives and keep our economy going.
On that note, clinic may be temporarily closed but we are very much still here for you all.

As I sit in the garden this morning in the glorious sunshine and fresh air with the sound of the birds all around me and my beautiful dogs playing with a tennis ball, I am overwhelmed with gratitude.
We have been forced into a more simple life and it is so important to take what you can from this experience and appreciate the small stuff.

We've put together a little gift for one lucky mumma! It's what we like to call our 'Holy Trinity' of skin care: Vitamin C serum, Retinol and high quality SPF 50+ (worth £120)
... Perfect to keep your skin in tip top condition from the comfort of your home over the coming weeks/months 😬
You may not think SPF is much use in 'lockdown' but A) it's essential if using a retinol and B) it's needed all year round, quarantine or not, because the light from our phones and tablets also causes skin cell damage and breaks down collagen! *Fun fact* 😂
