Great fish and chips. Ideally go here when they first start trying new potatoes. The team in here are always quick and friendly but be prepared for a queue on a Friday evening.

Usually average but long waits as often busy and fish size is very small and expensive. Don't mind paying good money for a decent piece of fish but have been diddled often with cod not much bigger than a fish finger for ┬Ż5 ??!!. Had very bad experience recently with a piece of skate which was expensive and absolutely rank - more batter than fish. Get the feeling this place lives off it's reputation and takes the fact it is always busy for granted.

Great food even if you want something different. Staff are friendly and efficient, funny too.
