Hi All. We are open this evening... both the Takeaway & Restaurant from 4:45 to 9:30pm...then back to normal hours. Thanks for your messages 🤗

Due to the severe weather conditions we will not be opening tonight or Friday lunchtime... we will make a decision on opening Friday evening at lunchtime tomorrow. Keep WARM-Keep SAFE

We are currently looking for a fish fryer 🐟 Experienced preferred however full training will be given!

Hayle Rotary Club recently visited the establishment and presented awards to the Directors of Becks. Richard and Margaret receiving the Paul Harris Fellow recognition and George Stone receiving an award for 25 years of Membership. It's lovely to see that Becks is widely considered within the local community.

We will be open for half term this week from 4:45pm Tuesday - Saturday :)

The restaurant and takeaway will be open Monday- Saturday from 4:45pm this week.

We are now on our winter hours and only open on:
Thursday (Take-away only) - 4:45pm - 7:30pm Friday Lunch time (Take-away only) - 11:45am - 1:30pm Friday Evening - 4:45pm - 9:15pm... Saturday Lunch time - 11:45am - 1:30pm Saturday Evening - 4:45pm - 9:15pm

We just love becks the food was fantastic and the deserts were amazing Its got a lovely old fashioned atmosphere and personal service

We have various dietary needs in our family; gluten free plus milk and egg free... It is rare to find somewhere we can all eat out together, but we could at Becks! We really felt we could trust them to pay close attention to our dietary needs and they didn't disappoint, thank you so much! The food was delicious.

Took my son there for a meal on 19 - 9 - 17.

This was the 2rd time I had a meal here.

I can honestly stat still the best cod and chips I've eaten for a long time.

I would most definitely recommend Becks to anyone.

The staff are always helpful and friendly.

One lady that really makes the restaurant is Margaret, with her warm friendly welcome.

Keep up the good work and never change.

The most friendly restaurant, I sighed at the amount of people waiting. Can see now why they do. Didn't wait long at all, and boy was it worth it. Well worth a visit.

Thank you for providing our tea for us Friday evening, six of us took our fish and chips down to Carbis Bay beach. They were excellent. Thank you to all your hard working staff, who do an excellent job, from the counter to the kitchen.It was busy, and we were well impressed at the pace they all worked together, taking orders. forwarding orders, from the courteous counter staff, to the busy fryers. All the way from Newlyn we came, past umpteen fish and chip shops,,,,,, none of whom offer any kind of competition, whatsoever. YOUR SIMPLY THE BEST !!!!!

Really friendly staff, got there early Friday night an hour later and it was packed people queuing for a table so speaks volumes for its popularity

Food was excellent great bubbly atmosphere everyone relaxed and chilled would highly recommend

Our yearly pilgrimage while on holiday, as expected awesome service and quality fish and chips, the best ever! Nowhere comes close if it wasn’t an 8+hour round trip we’d do it more often

Lovely takeaway, restaurant & bar. Two of us had breaded plaice chips & peas, one had cod and one haddock with chips & mushy peas. Batter very light and crispy, very nice fish. Big portions. Friendly staff, family run. Very quick and efficient service.

Just landed at the best chippy in Europe, what a welcome remember us from year to year. Brilliant customer skills and even better food

Great.. used visit here when young and always had fish and chips on a Friday.. visited restaurant while on holiday this week loved it.. brought back lots happy memories and food was fab!

Fabulous Cod and Chips in gluten free batter with gluten free onion rings, washed down with a Cornish Pilsner coupled with great friendly service. Highly recommended.

Excellent food , the cod and chips portion is huge . We had a bit of a wait but it's well worth it . We will be back .

Discovered this wonderful place several years ago and will not eat fish and chips anywhere else while in Cornwall. The food us amazing, the staff kind and attentive and the restaurant decorated beautifully and so clean. If we have two weeks holiday then we go twice. Two of my grandchildren love it too. Thank you Becks for all you do.

Best fish and chips large portions. A little pricy but well worth it. Place very clean and decor kept upto a high standard so I felt it was worth paying the extra invluding the waitress service. Very freindly staff.

A lovely family place with a charming owner who we had the privilege to chat with for a while� We”ll be back to visit your friendly, cornish restaurant!

Overrated, been a few times, food not bad but nothing extrordinary, packed with families with young children..way too noisy. Very long wait for table on each occasion. Worth a visit if you're passing by and don't mind the wait or noise.

Really dissapointed! We were in the area and thought we would treat ourselves to the famous Becks fish and chips. The fish was inedible. Dripping in grease soggy underneath the fish inside was very thin and not the nice meaty cod i have had elsewhere. The chips were reasonable but the mushy peas were tasteless and watery..we wont be back in a hurry!
