I'm Becky, an experienced saxophonist offering music for your wedding or special occasion together with saxophone lessons. Alto and tenor and any genre.

I am a writer, musician and educator with a wide and varied background. My recorded output at the moment consists of one CD; I was a founder member of the 'classical' ensemble Equinox.
My qualifications include a DipABRSM in saxophone performance (Level 4)
A-level music (grade A)
Grade 5 piano (merit)
Grade 5 theory (distinction)
I also have a BA (hons) in English with Creative Writing from the University of East Anglia and an MA in Creative Writing from the University of East Anglia, plus four years' experience of facilitating a community writing group.
While working with Equinox between 2005-9, I became a peripatetic and private music teacher, working with schools centred around Swadlincote and then Ripley /Heanor.
Since then I have continued my private teaching practice. My students have achieved great results including a distinction at Grade 8 and I have an enhanced DBS.
I have also relished the challenge of playing for weddings, funerals and community groups.
In 2016 /7 I sang and played in The Shine, a local covers band and as a duo with Darren Morgan.
I am currently looking for new musical opportunities.
