New Leaf Life Design offer Mental health First Aid Training, Counselling and Pop Up Wellbeing Services across Somerset

New Leaf Life Design is a Bridgwater-based counselling and coaching organisation with CSR at its heart that, through collaboration and increasing the strength and scope of connections between people and organisations, has built a sustainable business that has had a genuine impact on the local area.

Launched in 1992 by owner and counsellor Becky Wright, the principle upon with New Leaf is founded is one of enabling people to flourish by overcoming the issues that can affect their working life, their relationships, personal well-being and the ability to contribute positively to their community.

With a caring ‘green’ ethos driving all business decisions, New Leaf, since its inception, has maintained a vision and purpose that places a strong emphasis on ‘giving back’ to the local community both through its core services of counselling and coaching, and by involvement in a range of projects that have delivered specific benefits to sectors of the local community. Over the past eight years, New Leaf has worked in partnership with a number of local groups and individuals to help build local economic, social and environmental sustainability and make a meaningful contribution to the people, organisations and the environment in and around Taunton Deane. In short, all New Leaf’s business practices are designed and delivered with a real and genuine determination to benefit both individual clients and the wider society within which the business operates.

New Leaf was the first, and remains the only, counselling service in Somerset and Devon that has received external validation of its CSR-focused business ethos and professional practice from Trading Standards.
