Welcome to the Being an Inclusive Manager Programme. We are Clare Harris and Liz Jones and this learning programme is founded on our belief that people contribute at their best when they feel that they belong in their workplace. Managers and leaders are critical in creating inclusive environments where people can thrive and deliver results. In this programme we bring together the principles of inclusion with the practice of management excellence. It is designed to sharpen the skills of managers as they work with an inclusive mindset and approach. The programme lays out the core principles of inclusion and then supports participants to apply these principles in their day-to-day work. We ensure that managers have a solid understanding of inclusive management principles and are able to put these into practice The programme is divided into two parts: In Part 1 we ask "What does it mean to be an inclusive manager?" and help people think about their management practice in terms of the impact on others and on the business.
