We have just returned from an overnight stay for my husband's birthday. Staff are absolutely top notch and a credit to the hotel. We had a pleasant swim in the pool, changing rooms are filled with little extras such as straighteners, costume dryers etc. Rooms are very nice and again the extras such as bottled water, tea pig teabags, Molton brown toiletries are all appreciated. The breakfast was wonderful. There were no complimentary snacks with alcohol in the bar, which we were given on our last visit, which was a shame. This hotel is a little jewel and we will certainly be returning.

We had an amazing overnight stay. Clean hotel. Friendly staff. Decent food. Really enjoyed our stay especially the leisure club. If you want the spa recommend booking ahead we missed out as we hadnŌĆÖt and it was fully booked, even on a Monday.

We find reasons to drop in to this lovely hotel for a bar snack, very often, we've stayed there a few times and attended functions there, it is always 1st class. Lovely staff and great value.

Thank you for a lovely afternoon tea on Sunday for my daughterŌĆÖs baby shower. The food was delicious, lovely big scones and a wonderful selection of cakes. The waiter was so attentive and made sure we were well fed and watered. Highly recommended. Thank you.

Stayed overnight with my friend for her birthday treat.... the hotel and restaurant were excellent. The food delicious, and great service. The spa is elegant and modern, and both the massage and facial (especially the facial) were totally professional, relaxing, quality pampering at its best. Would definitely return.

Our second experience at this Spa. Really enjoyed it. Spent a lot of time in the garden as it was such a beautiful day. Our lunch was delicious. We had an evening meal in the hotel bar which was very tasty and beautifully presented. A very relaxing day indeed and will certainly come back again

My daughter and I stayed here as a celebration of her 21st. We could not have chosen a better hotel. From the reception, bar , breakfast staff to the housekeeping fairies who discretely made sure our room was immaculate all the time . Thank you all so much ­¤śā

Lovely clean hotel .. Nice friendly staff that make you feel welcome and special . The food was yummy .. Nice room which has all you need .. The only thing that disappointed me was the swimming pool and jacuzzi very dated and lacks a tranquil place to relax the loungers are wooden and uncomfortable. Also the roof top hot you have to pay extra to use . My stay was the weekend of the 24 th November 2017 and the Christmas feeling was apparent and pretty ... ’┐Į

Just spend the weekend here for a friends birthday, couldn't fault anything the spa is amazing, hotel was lush and the food delicious.

Classic comfort and reasonably priced for bisiness

or pleasure ideal base for visiting the beautiful surrounding area. For racehorse fans you are just minutes from the fantastic Newmarket race course and you can watch some of the Worlds best equine racers train at close quarters

Beautifully clean and warm - as ever, we had a lovely dinner and stay. Waiting staff and bar staff were very friendly and attentive. My only negative comment is that we were not offered anyone to show us to our suite, nor any offer to help with luggage. We have always had this in previous visits, so this was a little disappointing.

A lovely few hours with friends enjoying afternoon tea. Superb food, wonderful service and great value for money. I will definitely be going back.

A Birthday treat for our 84 year old mother June! Staff were very helpful as Mum finds it difficult to walk. Helped us to a very good table. Service was impeccable and the staff seemed very happy which makes so much difference (very rare to see that these days). I only mentioned it was mumŌĆÖs birthday and they remembered and recognised it at the end of the meal. Well done everyone!

The overall experience was very pleasant and the atmosphere was lovely and relaxed. The sandwiches were lovely but would prefer them made to order . The scones were amazing and couldnŌĆÖt be faulted at all! The deserts were a small but disappointing, more choice maybe of sweeter ones like macaroons would be ideal, some of them were quiet heavy . The tea was lovely and the staff member looking after us were friendly and explained everything to us . The over all experience of the Afternoon tea was lovely though and we will be back ­¤śŖ

Had 2 pots each. 2 scones each, choice of plain or fruit, opted for one of each, warm served with cream, strawberry jam and lemon curd, had better but they were passable. A selection of cakes, 5 different ones all very different and tasty. My thoughts are too many sweet things, one scone would be enough, possibly could add more savoury nibbles instead. Waiting staff were attentive and helpful. We were offered tap water which never came and had to ask twice for hot water for our tea. Staff were smartly dress but were let down by stained uniforms.
