It may seem a little off topic, but this Goblet of Fire from Harry Potter actually relates to our Course 2 students final three-week project.

Here's another one of our showcase images for the week taken by student Kerry Northey. This image which was shot for the mood project has been perfectly shot with a focus that is spot in.

Take a look at this image taken by Ken Torgersen during our mood project on Course 2 recently. The aim of the project was to think less about the technical aspects of the camera and more about the visual content of the students' images.

To all students on the Level 2 course, here's a video that you may find useful for the new Photojournalism project.
Your photography, like in this video, may take on sensitive subjects and this is a really good starting point to help plan your chosen theme. Have a think about your chosen theme and a creative way that you can tell that story.

Many people have heard of RAW images or already do shoot their images RAW, but do you really understand the differences between RAW and JPEG? Here's a quick look at some of the differences.

This time last week we made our way over to Houghton House for some evening shooting. A perfect evening where everyone got some really nice shots.

To those students currently on the Level 2 course, there is no lesson next week as it's half term week.
