If you are in or can get to west London you may want to think about building a willow fedge around your bee hives. Now is the time to plant one. A charity group in Shepperton have bundles for sale. As the coppicing is done by volunteers and is not a commercial operation, donations have been made to cover costs, typically between £20 and £50, but they are a fraction of the commercial costs of 50- £1.50 per stem. The volunteers have just made bundles of varying sizes from 100 – 200+ stems per bundle, which are now available for collection contact sallyfp@beedance.co.uk
