Bee Side Records Description
I started selling records as a hobby at the beginning of 2017, mainly to make room to develop my own (sizeable and growing) vinyl collection.
A successful first visit to Hull Record Fair gave me the "bug" for selling records and I now trade regularly at Hull Record Fair every other month (held at Fruit on Humber Street), as well as at Scarborough and Scunthorpe Record Fairs where I can usually be found sharing a stand with fellow Hull seller Bird's Nest Records.
I primarily sell second hand records, with a small selection of brand new vinyl as well. I only hold a small amount of stock at any one time but new records are arriving all the time and Wants Lists are most welcome. We also buy vinyl - small /medium collections down to individual records. Get in touch for more information.
Late in 2017 I thought it was about time my little pop-up shop had a name - and so, Bee Side Records was born! This page will keep you updated with our forthcoming record fair appearances, new stock and general vinyl chit chat.
I am a record collector first and a dealer second, all my records are priced fairly and I do it for pleasure as much as anything. If there are any particular records you are looking for, just ask and I may be able to help!

Tomorrow we'll be at the Emmaus Record Fair, a one day special event at the Emmaus Superstore on Lockwood Street (HU2 0HJ). There's free parking, free entry and there's tea/coffee and cake available too!
After a bit of an absence from the record fairs due to holidays and other stuff, I'm delighted to be back with a trip to Scarborough Record Fair tomorrow.
Lots of new stock, all prices competitively, and free chat available too. See you there!
Due to other commitments unfortunately we will be out of record fair action for the next couple of outings, so we won't be at Scunthorpe on July 1st or Hull Minster on July 28th.
However of course both Fairs will still be great and our fellow traders including Bird's Nest Records will be there as usual.

Great day down at Fruit yesterday, quietish at times but still went well and a really good atmosphere as usual.
Topped off by a visit to the Adelphi last night for Kingmaker/Sleeperman so a pretty good Saturday really!
Next Fair date is likely to be Hull in July.
... I do sell/post via online so any Wants are always welcome, just drop me a note.
And lastly anyone who actually knows me is very welcome to come and look at current stock, just PM me if this is of interest. I may even put the kettle on.

Just one of the record boxes ready for Hull Record Fair at Fruit tomorrow... plenty of bargains to be had!
Late 70s reissue - freshly cleaned and sounding pretty magnificent...
Cleaning and testing tonnes of new stock for Hull Record Fair this Saturday... this essential compilation is sounding very sweet indeed...
We've got a whole mountain of newly arrived stock to go through - as you can see there's quite a lot!
A real mixed bag here - some rock, lots of soul and disco, lots of 70s and 80s stuff, some 60s... wants lists very welcome, just drop me a line 🙂

Game day! We're off to the seaside!
Our next outing will be Scarborough Record Fair on March 31st. Always a good day, the Fair is held downstairs in the Central Methodist Hall on Queen Street.
As always I'll have LPs starting from £1, singles from 50p, and this time there'll also be a few CDs and music books too.
Hope to see some of you down there 😎
... Please note - this is the same date as Hull Record Fair so on this occasion I obviously won't be trading at Hull - back next time though!

Pretty busy down at Scunthorpe Record Fair...
Afternoon vinyl fiends!
Bee Side Records will be at Scunthorpe Record Fair next Sunday, March 4th - it's at Café INDIEpendent and the last one was great, so if you're thinking of popping down then do!
After that we will be at Scarborough Record Fair on March 31st - this is the same date as Hull Record Fair so please note we will not be at Hull this time out (but will be back of course).
... Plenty of stock ready to go for next weekend - see you in Scunthorpe I hope!

Morning all!!
It's game day. I'll be heading off to Fruit in a while to get set up for Hull Record Fair.
Come on down - doors open to the public from 9am till 3pm, free entry, the bar is open, and there will be lots and lots and lots of lovely vinyl.
... Come say hello - you'll find Bee Side near the rear entrance to Fruit, alongside Birds Nest Records and Paul Gibson in our usual table sharing set up.
