Beech Hill Hotel & Spa

I went for a weekend away by myself in the lakes to treat myself to some me time and opted for this hotel because of the beautiful photos and I was certainly not disappointed. The views were stunning, the breakfast delicious and the pool and outdoor jacuzzi were fantastic. I would highly recommend this hotel and I can't rate the staff highly enough, particularly the reception team. One of the young ladies was particularly kind and helpful and you can tell how hard the team work to ensure all is running smoothly. It was nice to see the staff smiling and getting on so well together. 5 star service - Thank you again!

Outdoor jacuzzi with view of windermere was very nice. Indoor pool is cold but I suppose it's nice to cool down from jacuzzi/sauna/steam room

We found a MOUSE running around our family room! Hotel haven't offered any sort of compensation and said 'it's not uncommon'! Stay here if you want to share your bed with mice!
I expected more health and safety procedures in place considering they are meant to be a 4* hotel and spa

Beautiful views overlooking Lake Windermere. Most of the staff were so nice especially Chloe who made my son feel extra special. Lovely 2nd room and amazing chandelier in the reception/sitting area.

Very nice updated room, clean and spacious with superb view of the lake.
Some parts of the hotel are a little dated, but the friendly staff certainly make the stay a welcome one.
WiFi is extremely short range and did not work in the room.
If you're in the lakes, I recommend Beech Hill Hotel as a place to stay.

Started off very poorly, we arrived to a room which was completely different to any photos that are on the website. We were very disappointed and the staff were very understanding and moved us into a larger and more representative room. There were still issues with cleanliness in the room, but the general experience following this was good. We didn't try the restaurant as we had lost confidence in the hotel after all the room issues, so we cancelled the booking. Our second day was much better, we had a great nights sleep, a good breakfast and in the evening we were able to use the spa which was extremely good. We did bring the issues we had up with management upon checkout and they were extremely apologetic, we ended up being offered a complementary night's stay. I must say, the staff were brilliant all the way through. Even though we had been complaining, they were all very friendly and helpful. We are very much looking forward to our next stay and I'm hoping to be able to upgrade this rating afterwards.

We visited Beech Hill for the Easter long Weekend this year. We both found the standards in the bedroom, spa and restaurant were above expectations and were all very professional and first class. We would have no hesitation in recommending it to anyone and will definitely be visiting again.

Disappointing. Bed ......two pushed together when we had booked a double not two singles. I kept falling down the gap! Spa ....cold pool. Breakfast ...average. Service ok clean but not worth the cash. Have had better at a £40 B and B . Parking an issue

Not recommended and would not come again.
Over £165 a night expensive for two for the stay for what it was

Booked a family room this hotel during the last half term for 2 nights. There was1 double bed & 1 sofa bed. It was a nice & cosy hotel. Nice breakfast in the morning. The scenery surrounding the hotel was amazing! Breathtaking view. Loads of parking available. There was a indoor swimming pool & outdoor jacuzzi. All in all it was a wonderful experience for my family & I.
