Beech'S Gardens

We were in urmston this week transforming an untidy garden into a neater more usable space. The builder's had been in for months and had left alot of mess so we cleared it out. Then installed some reclaimed flags to make the entrance to the garden more accessible. Then we broke up the hard ground and layed high quality turf. Also added a membrane around the shed and filled with stone. Customer very satisfied as always.

Here are just some of the highlights from last year's work. Looking back there's been so many great jobs which we have thoroughly enjoyed completing. We already have landscape projects and maintenance contracts booked in for this year but still have room for more. Get intouch for a chat and we can sort out a quote.

Here's a new fence that was constructed by us in December last year. Also we built a new custom built gate treated with fittings.

The Van's looking alot better with the signs on now. Also looks alot more professional on the commercial sites.

A big jet wash at gawsworth hall today. Looking alot better and not slippery anymore. Jet washing is available over the winter months after the leaves in November.

Just completed this planting job today at one of my maintenance contracts in bramhall. We stripped out some of the tired old shrubs and replanted them elsewhere in the grounds. We then prepared the soil and planted a mix of new shrubs and bulbs which will give interest all year round. Another thoroughly enjoyable job.

Another small planting job completed. We put a membrane down under the bark to control the weeds so will be easier maintenance going forward. Now just the back to do. Also popped back to a planting job carried out in the spring to prune some of the shrubs. It's looking fantastic and a pleasure to see it progress.

Another small landscape completed in sale. A simple solution to tidy up the garden, defining the edges, hiding the unsightly man hole, opening up and making it easier to maintain. Free first cut after turfing as always.

A beautifully hand made pergola completed today with the help of Grahame Beech. I plan to plant wisteria which will eventually have flowers hanging down through the archway. Also will add possibly Huechera either side of the path. Another thoroughly enjoyable job.

Small fencing job completed today. Very satisfying ripping out old tatty panels and replacing with new. There all fixed in together so they don't bang in the wind. Also built the new gate from scratch.

My summer bedding is definitely the best yet this year. The key to it is using a compost rich in nutrients and plenty of water. I use a mini irrigation system that only cost a tenner off ebay!

Another nice job done. Patio extended with existing spare paving, partial returf of the lawn, removed shed, installed a retaining edge, two shed bases and a good quality play bark put down at the back. Also with all turfing jobs you get the first cut free!

The grass at chelworth manor is looking better now after scarifying and a feed a few weeks ago.

Four window boxes constructed, installed and planted up with summer bedding plants. Also a micro irrigation system fitted so just need to either turn the tap on or get a timer.

Springfield house is looking nice at the moment. Keeping well on top of it and it's a pleasure to maintain.

A customer sent me some pictures of a boarder created a couple of months ago. It's coming on very well indeed. I'm pleased to hear that they are really enjoying the garden.

Small landscape completed in hale today. Fitted a retaining edge and replenished the gravel then seeded a new lawn.
