Been to the newly refurbished beechwood hotel today, wow a lovely hotel bar again and we had an Indian takeaway I would highly recommend it

Bang on service under new management. Couldn't ask for more!

Went with a group of 6 friends and though we had booked a table and the place was quiet we had to wait whilst they set one up for us. Once seated I had to eventually ask for some menus as no one appeared to be waiting our table. The menu was good a mix of English and Indian and the food didn't take too long to reach our table and it was delicious. Unfortunately the waitress started to clear a couple of plates away whilst two of our group were still eating and then we didn't see anyone for a good 20 mins after we had all finished during which time the table remained half cleared. I had to eventually ask for a dessert menu. All was poor considering the place was almost empty. After our meal I ordered a cappuccino and got a cup of dishwater trying to pass as a black coffee!!

Despite this the surrounding were nice the staff very friendly when we did see them and the food excellent so we will give it another try but I would suggest the management give the staff some do's and don't on waiting tables!!

Under new management so thought give it a try . Had the indian menu and could not fault the food it was lovely . Bar area could do with some music and making it feel a bit more cosy . Will definitely be returning for the food.

Great steak. Chips devine and peppercorn sauce was yum yum yum. Good food and good company my life is complete

The food looked nothing like that. The staff were dysfunctional and the building works unacceptably inconvenient

Would not recommend staying here. Had an awful time. Dirty place, no lights in car park area and half finished extension. Breakfast cold.

Not good very disappointed with christmas dinner

Avoid this place its a dump i was just there and got threatened and swore at by a guy claiming to be working there in reception i asked for a refund as didn't feel safe for my self or my vehicle and was refused by the manager who was there at the time and witnessed the abuse but who now claims to having not heard it,but on the plus side you can park by the broken pallets and old armchair in the carpark thats if the local hoodies are hanging out drinking and spitting there.
