Only go for the fishing with six ponds on offer theres plenty of pegs to choose from...

Stayed here for NYE 2016. Ideal location to visit friends in Borrowash but the site was dirty, the loo block never cleaned in the 3 days we were there and we went out and bought frish to try and make them a bit more palatable.. The site guy was friendly and did try to help us as the water was all frozen, but thank goodness we could do everything on board otherwise we would have moved on. Great if you like very basic, not very well maintained sites. Maybe it would be better in the summer season? Not willing to give it a go! And no offer of any kind of reduction for zero services including a lot of the time water! I would look elsewhere if I were you.

Masses of space. 2 nice sets of ablutions. Catch & Release dams right there. Near shops and a pub but far from crowds also.

Lovely to see that at last the new shower block at the other end of the park is finished and working! Now what about some more TLC for the rest of park please? Looking tired and neglected!! 😔

Lovely place, 5 smashing ponds, love taking my tent, pegs are good, nice for a family weekend, the tackle shop though is not reliable as it's not open all the time, just make sure you take your own bait and you won't go wrong,

Friendly site,especially for fishing enthusiast's and those wanting a peacefully time. Ideal for visiting local areas too. A few big rallies held at certain times ,all friendly though.

Nice relaxing clean + tidy caravan park , nice walks,good fishing.

Very good place to fish and very friendly people who run it .
Log cabin is out of this world would recommend to anybody

This was our first ever caravaning trip. The campsite its self was great especially if you want to fish all weekend, We chose a hard standing pitch as the grass was getting ready for a cut, we was very disappointed that the go cart track was disused as this was one of the main reasons we chose this site for our son, the new shower toilet block was fantastic although a little heat would of been very much appreciated, great walk around all the ponds every morning and evening, with very welcoming advise from 1 local fisherman who told us about a local fireworks display that night, so that kind of sweetened our son, was a little surprised there was no kids play area/park as if my partner were fishing for the weekend, myself and our 6 year old would of been stuck for things to do on site, although we had a great few hours in Elvaston park which is walkable from the campsite, will deffo return to try the ponds that's a must just hope the cafë and tackle shop are open :-D
