Beefeater Millers Barn

This is the second year we have had Christmas dinner here. Last year was lovely, service excellent and food very good, so we came back this year. This year, wow! Food of very high quality, last year nice but this year they really upped their game. Service was perfect, lovely waitress Hannah very friendly and attentive. Had a lovely experience from start to finish. Great price too. Thank you 😊

Table for 10 and highchair for birthday celebration. No problem. All ready when we got there. They looked after us well and coped with the staggered arrival of my family. They were unaware it was a birthday, but still looked after our needs and everyone enjoyed their meal. Happy to go back.

Not been millers in yrs and safe to say the meal i had tonight was wonderful , and very satisfying. When i first walked in i was a little apprehensive as im not overly keen on repetitive robot questions in customer service like how was your weekend etc but i was pleasantly surprised and rather impressed with how attentive your staff are. Just a lil bit of small talk and explanation i was just here to eat to save time as was busy with work and going to further meetings . The gentleman made sure when i ordered it was within my time restrictions and he even went as far as saying he didnt want the food to be late for me so i wasnt delayed . Small gestures and proof he listened as the restaurant was starting to get busy , to me , pays dividends. Ill definitely be frequenting millers more often.

Had fathers day dinner here, had the amazing sharing platter and a very juice burger very nice food along with the rest of my family who all enjoyed the food as well �

Had a great time today, food was delicious, service was great, big shout to Damion had a great chat about travelling. Thanks, will be back x

Had a brilliant family meal here yesterday, the service was excellent (thank you Adam, you were very polite, professional and efficient) the food was quick, hot and delicious👍

Great meal here. All steaks were cooked exactly as we asked for ,service from staff was great only little niggle was they had no GUINESS my hubby was gutted

Food was lovely, excellent service. Friendly and efficient staff. Only criticism, and it's not mine, but a few garden peas on the mixed grill would of been nice, it's unusual for them not to be included . I swapped and changed a couple of things on my meal with no problems at all. Will be back again soon.

6 of us visited yesterday (sunday) for my sister in laws 40th Birthday. Had table 1 as she is in a wheelchair and it's easy access. Food lovely mains - 3 x lamb Sunday dinners, 2 mix grills, 2 x fish and chips. Would have been nice not to have little frozen yorkshire puddings but they were ok. Puddings - 3 x rocky road sundae, 1 x popcorn sundae, 1 x cheesecake, 1 x crumble. Served by nice guy sorry forgot your name! I had Guinness which was fantastic and my husband had doom bar which he said was the best pint of it he has had in a while. No issue with bringing our own birthday cake. Even got given a knife and plates to use. All in all good visit with no issues. Thank you.

Well over priced for what you get, child's meal wouldnt fill a baby let alone a child, ran out of beef for sunday dinner and was only made aware once seaten. Food wasn't very nice either and food was dry n bland. Furnished lovely with great ambience however let down by quality of food and the over priced menu.

Steak very poor.. Told staff.. Who replied" You never know until you cook it" replied " so you will still serve it to customers if not right. No response.

Stayed for 2 nights in the hotel , dinner in the first night was cold , chips were sent back to be warmed up came back hard , they did after that get fat chips but to late , breakfast the staff sat 2 different couples at one table and the wife ended in sitting with the husband of the other couple , very funny �, I ordered boiled eggs hard and they came back runny, sent them back , the beans had just been put out and were cold , very disappointed in the quality

Service terrible at getting a table, even though we had booked! And they were not that busy, not honering offers for January that were advertised on facebook and online despite us visiting in January & within the time slot. Was told it wasn't On, despite advert online dissapointing ! Commented on the advert that this was not on offer in nottingham and my coment was deleted! "Chef" and kitchen staff swearing loudly multiple times within earshot of us with children, very poor for a family resturant!! failed to respond to my email complaint, food not very warm, saw multiple meals returned because of this, shame as we like other beefeaters, Waitress was pleasent but that was the only thing I could say good about it.

Ordered veggie burger & fries the food was cold took it back , fresh hot one came back with chips i asked for fries ( no fries left ) poor quality & high prices !

On a dark rainy April evening the bar was like a fridge, cold radiators and definitely not the place for a cosy drink. Service at breakfast slow and wrong order brought, despite a request the right one never arrived.

Food arrived stone cold, had to return 2/5 dishes. No service between courses so impossible to get value for money out of 'free refills'. Once the hot food arrived it was lovely however 3/5 members had finished 80% of their meal before we recieved ours. Disappointing :(

I had the steak burger. The burger was very tough and dry and the bun was so hard it was inedible. The chips overcooked.
