We hired the function room upstairs for a birthday party and I’ve got to say - Leah was amazing when it came to booking, showing us round, pre-orders etc. So a huge thank you to you Leah! The staff on the night (so sorry I’ve forgotten the managers name) were also so helpful and really accommodating. I can’t thank you all enough for your excellent customer service! Food was good, drinks were served in good time (we were a big party 37 people!) and you all remained happy and smiling.

Used the function room on Sunday for a christening, they couldn’t do enough for us, food was lovely, staff were great and the afternoon was a great success. They were really helpful with setting up the room and in the build up to the day too! They even organised he clean up afterwards too - thank you

Took my 2 kids for buffet breakfast. They love it and its so worth the money as they eat free. The car park meter swallowed my money with no ticket so they called the engineer to fix it but still took the money off my bill. Lovely staff and lovely food. Just gutted they have stopped the flapjacks � xx

Staff fab as always had the Aberdeen Angus steak � amazing only issue was the whole and I mean whole lettuce just did not understand why so much is doesn’t make sense the steak does not need this amount of lettuce please please please review your lettuce

Just returned home from my daughters 21st birthday meal. A party of 40, our meals were amazing all came out together and staff were very attentive. Highly recommended.

Dine here often. Child friendly. Staff even remember what my son likes to order!! Friendly staff. Sometimes it's busy and you have to wait but generally efficient. Worth prebooking online to guarantee a table at your desired dining time. Great offers too if you have a loyalty card.

Very nice friendly staff. Bar staff were under the cosh as only 1 guy on but did a good job to be fair. I had a lovelly waitress, Sally i think. Very polite and very knowledgeable about the menu. Food was good. I had the mixed grill and asked for my steak rare and the chef did not dissapoint me!! Lovelly meal.

Really nice to see a selection of vegetarian food other than beanburger, tomato pasta, or goats cheese. Just had the vegan burger and it really was nice, not like the usual vegetarian food that everyone assumes we eat (avocado, goats cheese and sun-dried tomatoes etc). The waiting staff were lovely too, but for the love of God please tell me why you put black pepper in my strawberry Frozen Yogurt? I couldn't work out what the vile taste was, and it got worse with every mouthful. It dawned on me it was black pepper. Pepper. Black. In my strawberry frozen yogurt. It was award winning, if they gave awards for the worst dessert ever. Everything else was great but unfortunately I'm traumatised by the black pepper yogurt.

Once again Beefeater does good.we were met by friendly staff shown to our table asked what we would like to drink.

I don't usually go to chain restaurants, but had travelled a long way to spend time with the in-laws, and it was their choice. It was clean and tidy. We were seated quickly and drink orders taken almost straight away. Food orders were taken within 10mins, and was ready about 15mins after. Our waitress was excellent and everything we required was seen to straight away. Drinks, main courses, and desserts were all very nice (especially the lemon sorbet).

Short staffed,so a wait. Got own drinks as no waitress came for order. Missed a meal ,they said it gone to another table in error and would be 10 minutes it came in 2!!!! Meals on the whole were very good and there was 7 of us,so not to bad .

Paid for breakfast thro hotel stay and I can't drink tea down here as water different and couldn't even get a hot chocolate without paying extra so not happy yet hardly had any of breakfast �

I'll get to the point. If you want to dine and your not a guest at the hotel , You will have to pay for parking then claim it back as a refund at the bar.

The cappuccino was awful . But saying that the environment was nice

Service was extremely slow and when offered a complementary drink they gave me the wrong drink and told me it was what I'd ordered. Luckily only used as staying at Premier Inn and it was next door, if I hadn't pre booked breakfast and dinner deal. I would have gone else where the next night. The next night was an improvement, the steak was nice shame the sides were not up to standard.

Very slow service. Not busy but still took over an hour for meal to arrive. Then another 40 minutes for ice cream to arrive! Food not even worth waiting for, certainly not one of the best steaks I've ever had! Plenty of waitresses but so so slow serving. Two of them spent more time chatting to people they know rather than serving. Will go elsewhere in future

I had 10oz rump steak which on the menu comes with unlimited chips ,veg or salad. On ordering I therefore asked if I could have a double portion of veg. When the meal came it had no veg at all. The waitress said she would get some. We had eaten our meals, spent 15 minuets finishing our drinks and payed the bill. Still no veg had arrived at the table. Service is very slow in general it was not busy in the pub ( Sunday night ). Don’t think I will be returning.

Very disappointed no big steaks bit of a long wait for meal...came out it was warm. one lot of chips was cold and took back.... Asked when we ordered food for extra chips with both steaks they never came...also asked again when meal came out they still never came...as a first visit for my wife's birthday don't think I'll be back

Oh and a cardboard Yorkshire. I didn't complain at the time as I was in a large party with my family so didn't want to spoil things. I wish I had spoken out now as my sister also felt the same as me. We have contacted HQ and hope we can get some refund as a gesture of goodwill.

Dine here often. Child friendly. Staff even remember what my son likes to order!! Friendly staff. Sometimes it's busy and you have to wait but generally efficient. Worth prebooking online to guarantee a table at your desired dining time. Great offers too if you have a loyalty card.

Very nice friendly staff. Bar staff were under the cosh as only 1 guy on but did a good job to be fair. I had a lovelly waitress, Sally i think. Very polite and very knowledgeable about the menu. Food was good. I had the mixed grill and asked for my steak rare and the chef did not dissapoint me!! Lovelly meal.

Really nice to see a selection of vegetarian food other than beanburger, tomato pasta, or goats cheese. Just had the vegan burger and it really was nice, not like the usual vegetarian food that everyone assumes we eat (avocado, goats cheese and sun-dried tomatoes etc). The waiting staff were lovely too, but for the love of God please tell me why you put black pepper in my strawberry Frozen Yogurt? I couldn't work out what the vile taste was, and it got worse with every mouthful. It dawned on me it was black pepper. Pepper. Black. In my strawberry frozen yogurt. It was award winning, if they gave awards for the worst dessert ever. Everything else was great but unfortunately I'm traumatised by the black pepper yogurt.

Once again Beefeater does good.we were met by friendly staff shown to our table asked what we would like to drink.

We ordered our food gammon steak was good in fact everything was great.

Only strange thing was they were advertising Christmas bookings a bit early.nothing like beating the rush eh.

I don't usually go to chain restaurants, but had travelled a long way to spend time with the in-laws, and it was their choice. It was clean and tidy. We were seated quickly and drink orders taken almost straight away. Food orders were taken within 10mins, and was ready about 15mins after. Our waitress was excellent and everything we required was seen to straight away. Drinks, main courses, and desserts were all very nice (especially the lemon sorbet).

Short staffed,so a wait. Got own drinks as no waitress came for order. Missed a meal ,they said it gone to another table in error and would be 10 minutes it came in 2!!!! Meals on the whole were very good and there was 7 of us,so not to bad .

Paid for breakfast thro hotel stay and I can't drink tea down here as water different and couldn't even get a hot chocolate without paying extra so not happy yet hardly had any of breakfast �

I'll get to the point. If you want to dine and your not a guest at the hotel , You will have to pay for parking then claim it back as a refund at the bar.

The cappuccino was awful . But saying that the environment was nice

Waited about 2 hours for our main meals and tables around us who ordered after us were getting their food before us. As they had missed our order. Service was extremely slow and when offered a complementary drink they gave me the wrong drink and told me it was what I'd ordered. Luckily only used as staying at Premier Inn and it was next door, if I hadn't pre booked breakfast and dinner deal. I would have gone else where the next night. The next night was an improvement, the steak was nice shame the sides were not up to standard.

Very slow service. Not busy but still took over an hour for meal to arrive. Then another 40 minutes for ice cream to arrive! Food not even worth waiting for, certainly not one of the best steaks I've ever had! Plenty of waitresses but so so slow serving. Two of them spent more time chatting to people they know rather than serving. Will go elsewhere in future

It was very over priced for what you get. My partner had the salmon which came with a small portion of boiled potatoes and veg. I had 10oz rump steak which on the menu comes with unlimited chips ,veg or salad. On ordering I therefore asked if I could have a double portion of veg. When the meal came it had no veg at all. The waitress said she would get some. We had eaten our meals, spent 15 minuets finishing our drinks and payed the bill. Still no veg had arrived at the table. Service is very slow in general it was not busy in the pub ( Sunday night ). Don’t think I will be returning.

Very disappointed no big steaks bit of a long wait for meal...came out it was warm. one lot of chips was cold and took back.... Asked when we ordered food for extra chips with both steaks they never came...also asked again when meal came out they still never came...as a first visit for my wife's birthday don't think I'll be back

I think I had probably the worst Sunday lunch I've ever had. Cold mash potatoes. Cold green beans and cardboard roasts. That was it. Food sat in the middle of the plate and looked very unappetising. Oh and a cardboard Yorkshire. I didn't complain at the time as I was in a large party with my family so didn't want to spoil things. I wish I had spoken out now as my sister also felt the same as me. We have contacted HQ and hope we can get some refund as a gesture of goodwill.

Food ok, service terrible. Staff consistently ignored our table, had to flag them down to order drinks and food. Plates were just not cleared at all, further drinks orders were forgotten, no common sense and when we asked if we had been ignored for a reason the waitress laughed and joked about it?! Wouldn’t recommend.
