We went yesterday for lunch, we were seated promptly, our drinks order was taken straight away & brought within minutes, we gave our food order about 10 mins after arriving & it was brought piping hot within 15 mins, I personally didn't mind waiting because our food was cooked fresh which is what I prefer, the staff couldn't do enough for us & I recommend you to all my friends.

We go quite a few times in the yr & have spent several nights there, ie birthdays, new year etc & again treated really well & the breakfast is really fantastic & superb value for money x

We spent 3 weeks at the Premier In and dined every night at Beefeater, it was excellent and we could order special dishes that they agreed to do for us. I recommend. The staff is very kind and very welcoming. We laughed a lot.

Warm and friendly welcome from the bar staff... very pleasant young man

User

Excellent from start to finish!

We booked ahead as we thought it might be busy, we stood at the check in area for around 1 min.

Charlie welcomed us, checked the booking and showed us our table.

Drinks arrived, followed by starters.

I had surf n turf, (medium rare) cooked perfectly with tasty prawns, my wife & daughter also enjoyed their choices!

Unfortunately we were toooo full for puds!

We will return, thanks to Lorraine who served us! Good job guys

Mike.

3rd time myself and my husband have been here, the food is lovely, typical pub grub, but lovely none the less, we waited next to no time for our food to arrive, the staff were polite, it serves great beer too. The only negative for me was how long they took to clear our table after we'd finished eating, however I must stress we were in the bar area and not the restaurant. We'll definitely be back

The prices are absolutely effing ridiculous!! Been to better quality restaurants in London with cheaper prices. It’s an absolute joke. £21.99 for an 8oz steak and £17 for a standard SMALL mix grill. Outrageous!

User

Sat too near a badly placed disabled toilet/baby change room it stunk of poo & dirty nappies across the pub. Food a bit of a let down tiny weeny portion on corn on the cob did complain i was brought another and my steak was tiny too so was my partners chicken dish. Pretty disappointed. We move because it was freezing initially then moved again because of the stink then the food was a let down really. The staff were great but food nothing to write home about bit of rip off not value for money.

User

Rump steak was nice but I seemed to be invisible to staff...

User

Food wasn’t great sorry, waited too long for drinks too. I agree with it being far too dear for what it is. Disappointing.

User

Apart from the massive mix up with the bill which did mar the family get together, the staff were very attentive and didn't make a fuss when we added two extras to the booking and also swapped the high chair I asked for for a chair instead.

User

Very disappointed with service and food.Had table booked for 4o'clock for seven people .Was seated at table at 4oclock.then no waiter came to our table until 4.20 to ask us about drinks . Then.still no one came to take out orders for meals until 5 pm and that was only because we managed to get the attention of one of the staff. The member of staff we spoke to was very unhelpful shouting over one of our family members also made our baby member cry with her shouting .Her customer Service was disgusting. Finally the food arrived at 5.25pm.Not one meal was worth eating My steak was supposed to of been cooked medium .it was like a piece of burnt rock on my plate. Two other steaks ordered was disgusting .We complained and was offered replacement steaks .Mine was worse than the first one also the other steak was no better. The other meals were no better not one of the seven mea!s were satisfactory We were given £50. Off our bill what does that tell you .Will never go again.

User

Meal cold and we waited ages will not be going back but we tride it dont like it

User

Got there just before 12 coffee machine out of action, food was good, but a knife under next table, under our table had not been hoovered, very disappointed with this visit. Not easy to move tables as had a disabled person with me.

User

The serving staff are fantastic. After that it all goes down hill.

Phoned up the day before Mother's day and got a table for 3 for 2pm. Got there and they couldn't find our booking. They found us a table right by the main door, and it was freezing. Got told they had no 1/2 chicken - not unusual, they're always running out of stuff.

Ordered our meal. Diet coke was served with 80% ice, on top of already being watered down to nothing. Starters arrived after a 50 minute wait and two had to be sent back because the potato skins with bacon had no bacon on it. It would have been sent back anyway as it was stone cold. This was after complaining to the manager, who offered no apology whatsoever and was quite confrontational.

Main meal was also on the cold side, but bearable. Ordered dessert only to be told that two of the three items were not available - no pouring cream and the profiteroles were still frozen. We did get a bottle of wine and a jug of water offered to us, but only because they were brought to the wrong table by mistake. We had five different staff come to us, and they all looked demoralised by the total lack of leadership and organisation. I'm amazed that they didn't all walk out. All we heard across the restaurant was staff saying "I'm really sorry....."

We got charged £78 for that and my wife, who was taking her mother out for a special treat, is now in tears. If Beefeater has a quality standards department, you really need to pay Preston Brook an unannounced visit real soon.

Either that, or sack the manager and get a new one. Local competition is increasing, and you're losing business hand over fist. We probably won't be coming back.

User

The service shocking I am invisible staff look at you and don’t even engage in eye contact they just look straight past you and then walk away food if you can call it that don’t believe the menu if it says warm bread then it’s not it’s cold then the butter to spread on it is that hard you could build a house with it then main meal dried out been left under the heated lamps too long yes they would do me another but if this is what they serve no thanks but I could have a free drink I don’t want anything free just a meal you can eat no more no less

My husband arranged my birthday meal with family here. It was Chaos from start to finish. The table was booked for 5.30pm as we had 2 young children with us. After ordering the starters we waited and waited and at 6.45pm the starters arrived, not the best the garlic prawns were tasteless and a bit disappointing to say the least. The main courses, firstly this was a Sunday the day people more often have a Sunday roast, a few people in our party wanted this option only to be told they had ran out of roast chicken (quite early to run out don't you think) this was replaced by a chicken breast fillet. Anyway the main meals came and what a disaster. My guests meals the roast potatoes looked like pieces of coal they were so burnt, the chicken breast for those that had it were so dry, the adult meal quantity would have suited a small child. One of my other guests ordered steak as part of their main meal, (forgive me if I'm wrong are beefeater best known for their steak?) Well the steak my guest had was a disgrace you could not bite into it, you could see the gristle running through the whole piece. Clearly this restaurant are taking too many table bookings for the staff to cope with, and the food quality is sub-standard and needs to be looked at. I won't be recommending this place or taking our family there again you can count on that .

User

I'm not one to complain.... But I have just had THE worst plate of food... I've ever had... Mixed grill.. £16.95... Expensive indeed but I thought it would be worth it.... How wrong I was! I was served anemic sausages and chicken... No colour at all... Looked like they had been boiled! The gammon was 3mm thick and looked like an old inner sole... The steak was pathetic... I literally took one bite out the sausage andsent it back... I'm actually speechless that a professional chef would serve that quality of food... Every item on the plate looked like rubber joke food... I'm shocked... Im speechless... Words just can't explain just how bad this experience was... Simply unbelievable!!! Beefeater you should be ashamed.

User

All I can say is go the toilets before you order food. Food was not great

User

2nd time coming; staff asked us for sauces they never came; then asked for refills didn't come for awhile, some staff go off shift then left us alone for ages:(! Normally we have no problems but at the moment just isn't good. Going to have to go to somewhere else if this carries on.:(!!!!
